Best temperature measuring tool for the kitchen
I used to use an older style of temperature measuring thermometer that was slow to respond and not easy to read. This ThermoWorks instant read thermometer is easy to use and has vastly improved food cooking safety in my kitchen. The other significant benefit is not overcooking poultry and beef. A medium cooked hamburger is exactly possible, safe and perfect using the ThermoWorks ThermoPop instant read...and it turns itself off after you are finished and set it down!

Best Food Thermometer
I recently purchased the ThermoWorks Thermopop2, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance! This thermometer offers lightning-fast read times, providing accurate temperature readings in just a few seconds. It's been a game-changer in my kitchen, whether I'm grilling outdoors or baking indoors. What sets the Thermopop2 apart is its waterproof design, which makes it incredibly durable and easy to clean. I no longer worry about water damage, making it perfect for cooking in various conditions. The display is easy to read, and the rotating display feature ensures I can read the temperature from any angle. Overall, the ThermoWorks Thermopop2 is an essential tool for anyone who loves cooking. Its precision, durability, and user-friendly design make it worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient cooking thermometer. Five stars all the way!

Nice thermometer
Easy to read, the display can rotate 90ยฐ in any direction so you can read it no matter how itโs stuck in the food. Itโs a little bit slower to read temps than some others Iโve used but it does get there if you give it a few seconds. It has a stainless steel pin and bright orange top, easy to find, easy to use, easy to clean.

Life is better now (or at least my cooking)
I really love this thing so far. I had a $15 TempPro folding one and it stopped folding and the probe fell out of the casing lol. Sooo I guess $15 is too little to spend on a thermometer. I really like how easy this one is to wash, like I donโt have to worry about it at all, and itโs a fairly instant read. It still struggles with bread and brownies and stuff, takes maybe 5-10 seconds to stabilize. Thermodynamically thatโs understandable, I was just hoping for some magic I guess. Meat, maaaan itโs a whole different game. The TempPro would give me terrible reads, I think because the probe averaged over too much of its surface or something. So I always got a low reading and ended up overcooking. I gave up on using it. But this one is absolute pinpoint accuracy. You can get a really good feel of the thermal gradient in the meat. So basically all my chicken and steaks will come out perfectly forever. Using a thermometer is cheating to be fair but if there's one thing I've learned in life it's that cheating when there are no rules is usually a great idea. So yeah man Iโd say itโs worth it especially if it ever goes on sale.

Faster Than My Old Dial Thermometer, For Sure.
Works well but the time, for my thermometer, at least, to reach temp is well over three seconds - closer to five. I also tested boiling water and it showed 215ยฐ, that's three degrees higher than what is the temperature of boiling water. I'll still use, it as long as it's consistent - just need to remember to know actual temp is three degrees cooler than display. Again, not saying that these issues are representative of all. There may have been an error in the calibration. Get one, it's affordable and apparently well-made. I like the design, display, color. I'D BUY IT AGAIN.

Should you get this? Yes, absolutely
Wicked fast, easy to read, consistent performance. I had a Thermapen for years but when it died, I thought Iโd try this one. Zero regrets. This may seem like a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a thermometer, but the performance and durability puts this in a class above almost anything you would find in a store.

The Vespa of Kitchen Thermometers
The ThermoPop 2 food thermometer has been a great addition to my kitchen toolkit, especially with the eye-catching blue color. Blue adds a fun pop to my counter top and makes it easy to find. The fun colors seem to go well with the sleek design of the thermometer. Iโll note that the probe cover matches the blue top. It clicks securely into place, which I appreciate for both aesthetics and functionality. Importantlly, I think this feature helps protect the thinner probe. It seems to be a bit more delicate compared to the Thermapen Classic or Thermapen ONE. For me, this makes the cover a crucial addition when storing or transporting the thermometer. What I really like about the ThermoPop 2 is the easy-to-read screen. The display is large and clear. It has a backlight that activates for 10 seconds when you press a small button. The button is a bit on the small side and a bit tricky to find without looking, but I think Iโll get used to this pretty quick. Personally, I think 10 seconds provides just the right amount of time to get a temperature reading without draining the battery. Additionally, the rotating display is a game-changer. It adjusts 90 degrees with each rotation, meaning I never have to twist my wrist or crane my neck awkwardly to see the temperature. While the backlight is slightly uneven, with one part of the circle being brighter than the rest, it hasnโt affected my ability to read the temperature accurately. The thermometerโs build feels robust, particularly the screen section, which gives a sense of durability. However, the top-heaviness of the device makes it feel a little imbalanced in my hand at first. After a few sessions of use, though, I find myself adjusting to this minor issue, and it no longer bothers me. I use the clip on the probe cover to store the thermometer in my shirt pocket. I found that I can easily slide the device out without pulling the cover along with it. Despite my initial worries about its weight distribution, the design has proven to be more functional than I expected. So Iโm excited to have this as a possibility to store as Iโm cooking so Iโll always know where it is. In terms of performance, it seems to me that the the ThermoPop 2 makes quick and accurate readings. It also comes with a calibration certificate, which is a nice touch even thought this is a more budget-friendly option. Thus, it seems to me that the ThermoWorks' reputation for precision holds up with this model. Their products give me confidence that I can rely on it for consistent results. My primary concern is the durability of the thinner probe, but with the protective cover, the relatively low price, and the included warranty, I feel reassured. Overall, Iโm thrilled to have a dependable, precise thermometer that offers the signature ThermoWorks quality in a more accessible package. A point that Iโll add here at the end is that Iโd feel much more comfortable toting this device along to a cookout, tailgate, or camping, as compared to bringing along the Thermopen ONE. Iโd be less concerned about dropping it or losing it. So, I think having both in my kitchen is what Iโll be doing going forward. I've used and reviewed two other of ThermoWorks Thermometers; the Thermapen ONE and the Classic Thermapen. I consider the Thermapen ONE the Lexus of kitchen thermometers, the Classic the Toyota of kitchen thermometers, which leaves the ThermoPop 2 as the Vespa of Kitchen Thermometers as it is smaller, more agile, still gives. you good performance, nice curves and fun colors.
