The Elgato Key Light Neo is a great option if you want a simple, affordable monitor light. The build quality is decent, which makes sense for the price point, but it still feels solid enough for everyday use. The controls are very easy to navigate, making it quick to adjust brightness and get the lighting where you want it. It also sits nicely on top of a monitor without getting in the way. What surprised me most is the brightness. For such a small light at this price, it outputs a lot of usable light and works well for video calls or basic lighting. Overall, a good value light that’s compact, easy to use, and brighter than expected.

I run a YT channel and also am a guest on other people's live streams. While the majority of my content doesn't require my face to be on camera, when I do interviews and guest appearances, I always want to come across with decent quality. I initially picked up the Elgato Neo Key light to go with my Elgato Neo webcam and mic for a specific nightime appearance I had on a stream. When I plugged it in and turned it on, I was impressed by the brightness and liked that I could adjust the tint and brightness all on the unit directly. I then installed the Elgato Control Center software and was amazed at the level of adjustments it had through the software. When I first bought it, I thought I was getting a key light with slight adjustments, but turns out this item has much more to it. It has resulted in me needing it as my only light. It brightens up my face and brings me into the forefront while still showcasing my background in a somewhat dim, yet viewable image. I'm super happy with the outcome. There is one little piece that may be a drawback to others and that's the monitor mount for it. It works great on my monitor, but it's basically a swivel u-brace. If you need to aim it down, you may have a stability issue with it, but it also has a standard screw on it so you could use a regular telescoping stand or boom arm for it. Overall I've been super happy with it and remains the keylight that I use in conjunction with my Elgato Neo Cam

A fairly simple, straightforward product from a known brand. Cannot complain. No app or software necessary. Easy to set up. Solid quality. Gets the job done. And great controls for it to be as bright or dim as you may need it. All the controls are on the light itself. Set it and forget it.

I have two Elgato Key lights and was looking for a light to use with laptop while away from my desk. Although the Aura was more expensive than the competition I opted for it in order to have a single management app. Unfortunately the key light is far too heavy for my laptop monitor and kept pulling the screen down. Additionally it’s a dumb light without app-based control, so using the same brand was irrelevant. I returned it.

Makes me look much better on video calls for work. Dead simple to set and forget. I use on very minimum settings, light can be very powerful for dark rooms. For best stability, connect to USB power in wall, not in a computer or hub. The light draws enough power that on some hubs, it will periodically power down and turn back on again. I would recommend this to anybody streaming or working from home.

Office worker here (not streamer / content): expensive however well worth it if you have a Stream Desk. New office area for me. With spring here and that pesky bright sunlight I needed a way to manage wash out & other visual annoyances without necessary closing blinds / curtains etc. Works amazing. Sadly, presentation still matters. And with the Stream Deck, no fiddling when "live".

Fantastica luce particolarmente adatta per content creators e streamers. E' una luce che potremmo definire da set, perfetta per illuminare ad esempio il vostro viso durante una diretta o una registrazione video, associata ad una telecamera o una webcam. Si alimenta tramite un cavetto USB di circa 1 metro. Viene fornita anche una prolunga di circa 1.5 metri per un totale di ben 2.5 metri di cavetto, il che da una grande flessibilità di utilizzo. Ho due tasti, uno per accendere/spegnere e uno multifunzionale che consente sia di regolare l'intensità luminosa che, con un click, di passare alla regolazione della temperatura di colore (da 2900 a 7000 K). Luminosità fino a 1000 lumen a seconda della potenza dell'alimentatore (spinotto di alimentazione non incluso) Fa una bella luce uniforme soffice che è perfetta per riprese video. E' una soluzione molto semplice, molto portatile e flessibile e relativamente economica per content creators o anche semplicemente per persone che fanno spesso streaming o video conferenze. Ha sotto un attacco femmina standard da 1/4 che consente l'attacco alla sua basetta per aggancio a schermi e monitors vari, ma che può anche essere usato per attaccare la luce ad esempio ad un piccolo (o grande) treppiede da posizionare sulla scrivania o altrove. Mi avrebbe fatto piacere se anche la sua basetta avesse avuto un attacco femmina 1/4 per un utilizzo anche modulare, ma non ce l'ha. L'oggetto rimane validissimo anche cosi. Pesa 246 grammi, quindi non è leggerissima. Se la usate montandola sul display di un PC portatile potrebbe tendere a far inclinare lo schermo, a seconda di quanto è rigida l'articolazione della cerniera con il corpo del PC. In questo caso potrebbe essere conveniente montare la luce su un piccolo treppiede. Per quanto mi riguarda sono contentissimo dell'aquisto, ha nettamente migliorato la qualità delle mie video calls. Sto valutando di comprarne una seconda. 5 stelle piene.

Använder denna Key Light dagligen, det är sjukt enkelt att ändra mellan varmt och kallt ljus, ändra ljusstyrka, och såklart stänga av och på. Lite anledningar varför jag ger 5 stjärnor: *Som ni ser på bilden täcker den inte skärmen alls, sitter stabilt *Den svagaste ljusstyrkan är inte ens jobbig att titta rakt in i, men bidrar med lagom mycket ljus för att märka tydlig skillnad på bildkvalité *Har den även igång när jag inte har min webcam igång faktiskt för det är lagom mycket ljus när jag gamear *Man ändrar ljusstyrka med en sån volymratt eller vad man nu ska kalla det, så man får det precis så ljust man vill *Ser riktigt proffsigt ut när man drar upp ljusstyrkan när jag tar möten hemifrån osv Om jag ska säga något dåligt är det väl att hela min setup är svart och Key Lighten är vit, men det är ju rätt tydligt på bilderna så det är ju inte produktens fel ;)
