Returned no backlight difficult to set

I recently purchased the **TXL 14.2" Large Digital Wall Clock**, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. The large display is fantastic—super easy to read from across the room, and the clarity is really impressive. The numbers are crisp, and the day and date are perfectly visible, which makes it a great addition to my living room, especially for older family members who appreciate the larger text. That being said, setting it up wasn’t as smooth as I hoped. The instructions that came with the clock seem to have been translated from Chinese, and while they’re not terrible, they definitely could use some improvement. I found myself having to read through them a few times to figure out exactly how to get everything programmed correctly. Once I got past the initial setup, it was fine, but it did take a bit of trial and error. Despite the minor setup challenge, the clock is battery-operated and works flawlessly. It's nice not having to deal with cables, and the clock has been running steadily without any issues. It’s a simple, functional clock that does its job well, with a great display that’s both practical and attractive. If you're willing to spend a little time learning the setup, this clock is a great buy for anyone looking for a large, easy-to-read digital display with day and date. Perfect for homes with kids, seniors, or anyone who just likes a clear and stylish clock on the wall!

I recently got this large-format digital clock for my workshop, and I’m very pleased with it. The display is crisp, clear, and easy to read from a distance, which is exactly what I needed. Setting up the clock was straightforward. Although it comes with instructions, they’re probably not necessary if you’ve set up digital clocks before. The clock includes a wall mount bracket, which you can use to hang it, but I didn’t find any screws in the box. You might need to provide your own screws for the mounting bracket. Alternatively, the clock comes with a kickstand, so you can place it on a desk or counter if you prefer. I chose to mount mine on my pegboard using pegboard hooks, and it worked perfectly. The clock also includes four AA batteries and two AAA batteries. Note that the AA batteries are wrapped in plastic and need to be removed and unwrapped before you can use them. The clock also has a timer and alarm function which is something I probably won’t use, but is nice to have. An added feature is the built-in temperature display. In my informal testing, it matched my weather station’s temperature reading within one degree, which is accurate enough for my needs. I’ll monitor it over the next few weeks and update this review if there are any issues with time drift. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this clock; it’s a great addition to my workshop.

As I expected, the integrated circuit (IC) technology yields supreme accuracy and appears to be 100% accurate. 3. Temperature: the room thermometer of the display agrees with several other sources which I have. Neutrals: >> 1. Clock function controls: the photo shows the functions controls for time setting, temperature F/C, etc. are situated on the back right-hand edge. This is such a large clock, I was constantly changing settings which I didn't want to change every time I picked up the clock. Once I get it mounted on the wall this should not be a problem. 2. Difficult setup: it took me the better part of an hour to set up the clock the way I wanted (time, date & temperature) because the instruction sheet could probably use some good Chinese to English editing. Mr. Engineer >> recommends this clock for those who want/need a larger display.

I have several things that I don't love about this clock, It doesn't have the ability to light up at night so if it's dark in my room then I can't see the time and have to check my phone. It was a pain and took so many times setting the date and time, and I am good at doing those types of things on any device. It had a semi complicated way of installing it to the wall. I got a different but similar style clock for my sons rooms that is better in every way, all of the issues I had with this are gone with my sons clock.
