It’s easy to thread and wind a bobbin. The needle threader can be hit or miss but it’s a good machine for beginners. We also teach elsewhere and they have another brand of a heavy duty machine. This machine is better. It has some great stitches for mending too. The new one is almost the same as what she had, so hoping it lasts just as long, if not longer! The only downside I see is it does not have a carrying case...so, maybe now it will "stay at home"!
