What hit me as I unboxed the keyboard was that Glorious’ design intent was for you to drop $100 on this thing, and then spend $200-$400 more to “build” it into something you really wanted. Sorry, just no. I want something I like out of the box and then be able to swap components. Not make a diamond from trash. If you are eying these glorious keyboards I’d recommend the GMMK2 model. Solid out of the box, aluminum frame top, switch presses feel awesome with no frame sag on press, and only $80 (right now). GMMK2 also has a quality weight aspect to it. Not sure if it helps but I like its sturdiness. GMMK3 is just not even in the same league as last gen models.

Over $100 for a keyboard that feels like $30 out of the box. What hit me as I unboxed the keyboard was that Glorious’ design intent was for you to drop $100 on this thing, and then spend $200-$400 more to “build” it into something you really wanted. Sorry, just no. I want something I like out of the box and then be able to swap components. Not make a diamond from trash. If you are eying these glorious keyboards I’d recommend the GMMK2 model. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great keyboard—lousy software

Keyboard is well put together and built solid. While quiet, there was too much sound from the keys bottoming out on the switch, which i fixed with inexpensive silicon rubber washers. I love the build. The software is absolutely terrible, preventing use of many features and customization, as others have said—kept from 5-stars. Hope they fix it soon.
