Red algae dealt with
I would never have believed had I not seeรฑ it with my own eyes. Red algae gone in a week. Tank so much clearer now. It does what it promises. Incredible value for money.

Amazing product
The aquarium we have is moderately planted, various shrimp and fish. Algae started to become a bit of a problem on the glass aswell as attaching to plants. Within the first week of the first treatment, virtually all algae is gone. Very impressed and happy with this product.

Absolutely magic
I had green hair algae, black beard algae, and blanket weed algae and now the only hold out is a little bit of black beard that's still clinging on but is dying off. Very easy to use and didn't effect the fish health at all (I have a few sensitive shrimp and fish and they were completely fine) it briefly made the water cloudy but that cleared up fast. I'm on week 4 of treatment and the tank looks gorgeous. It doesn't clear up stuff stuck to the side of the tank but I have snails and scraping for that. 10/10 and the bottle will last for ages as it's such a small dose.

Bought to tackle the mighty " Black Beard Algae"
Unfortunately in the tail end of last year and beginning of this year two of my six tanks were overtaken by BBA which is awful ๐. The stuff is very thick.. like human hair, and can't just be scrubbed off etc it destroys live plants and messes with your water parameters. So after trying quite a few different things I tried this stuff. Short story is that it works, but it works slowly and depends on how much bba you have. But after two days of treatment the algae is turning a deep purple/red colour "dying". It becomes flakey to the point it can be scrubbed off then removed by your filter or a Syphon. Before trying this I had been cutting the infected stems or leaves from plants and binning them.. the tank was bare. I have since found that if you have an infected plant, best thing to do is dilute some of this in a spray bottle, then spray directly onto the plant and let it soak in before putting the plants back into the tank.

Brilliant, but be patient
I have a 450l tank well stocked and well planted tropical aquarium, I use CO2 and added fertiliser occasionally. Filtered with 2 x Fluval 307's water quality is almost perfect. I had been having a terrible problem with algae for some time, I don't know why it suddenly started or why it developed so fast. Algae was growing on the leaves of the plants, on the bogwood and on the substrate and glass. Then long strands of hair algae appeared attached to the plants. I'd tried spot treating with APT fix which killed it but then it just grew back. I tried reducing the light and increasing the fertiliser but still the algae grew. I now have an algae free tank after using AlgExit for just over 3 weeks. This is what I did: the tank has 2 tubes, I reduced the light with one tube on from 2:30pm until 7pm and the second from 6pm to 7pm. I add fertiliser every day and the CO2 runs for 8 hours a day. I started adding the recommended dose of AlgExit and after week 1 the algae on plants and bogwood had gone, after 2 weeks the algae on the substrate had gone but the hair algae was still growing so I was getting. worried. A week later and the hair algae has now all gone and my tank has never looked better. I am going to start increasing light levels gradually so only time will tell if the algae will return, but I have no hesitation in recommending this product. The tank is stocked with fish, frogs, shrimps and snails and none were affected by the treatment. The last pic is 6 weeks later.

good product
used before works well but you must treat regularly up to 7-8weeks and put plenty of air in with air stone and air pump continuously and take out charcoal filters while treating or it just filters it out and wasteing your time and money, good job

Made a small difference
I have tried several Algee killers over the years This worked to a certain extent, however it was not as good as some of the โliquid CO2โ products I have used in the past however, I think this stuff is better for your fish Certainly get quite a bit for your money
