Cool motion lamp!
Purchased this for my son‘s room. He absolutely loves the color changing ability. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom. Well-made, and the remote control makes it fun. It’s not very heavy, but like most lamps, it does get warm. The LED feature should make it last a lot longer than the one we had with a bulb.

Dented scratched and shaken
I got the package opened it. The cap was Scratched and dented. The bottle had been shaken vigorously. The base was bent and dented in multiple ways , after turning it on it is very cloudy, and there is wax stuck to the side of the bottle that will not come off on the inside. Literally no aspect of this was correct. It was entirely a waste of money, incredibly disappointed..

Safety
We Love the lamp and the remote control that comes w it for the different colors and effects. Only thing I'm cautious about is that the glass and metal base heat up EXTREMELY HOT after awhile. So it's not good to leave it on for too long. Or leave it unattended too long also. Just something to be aware of. Overall, it's a nice gift and calming to watch.

Very nostalgic with added convenience
It takes you way back, if you are as old as we are. Much like the original but with many more functions and choices. It comes with a remote that let's you choose single color or color changing, it can be set to fade, flash, stobe and you can adjust the brightness. It uses LED which keeps the base at a lower temperature and a longer lifespan. As for being the shape that it is, it is very stable.

Failed after just a few days.
I should have listened to the negative reviews. It worked for a few days, long enough for the box to be disposed of, but now most of the wax is stuck to the sides of the glass. It doesn't melt no mater how long the lamp is on, up to 14 hours. The room temperature is in the 80s.
