## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am a complete novice, so could someone advise me what lens and memory card size they would advise buying to go along with this product?**
A: Hello DavidThe answer may not be to your liking but here goes:Lenses:This depends on the photographs you wish to take. A fixed focal length lens provides the best results but is, in my opinion, economical and you could find yourself investing in lenses and building up a collection of which some will be very seldom used. My own choice was to go for reasonably priced telephoto lenses of which covers my needs, these are 10-20mm with an aperture of 1.4-5.6, 18-50mm with an aperture of 2.8 and a 50-150mm with an aperture of 2.8. I use SIGMA lenses as I have a few cameras with different lenses, which accommodate the 350D as well as 35mm cameras. To go for a single lens that facilitates a large range of focal lengths would be a mistake, two or three telephoto lenses are, in my opinion, much better as well as being more flexible.Memory Cards:The more bytes the bigger the capacity of photos your card will hold. I have some 8Gb to 32Gb that I 'recycle' by deleting the card after downloading onto a computer. I like to travel with my cameras and prefer a variety of capacities as having 64Gb and only downloading when the card is full is going to lead to an accident in which you may lose all your photos. X-Ray machines may well be safe on the odd occasion, but over a period of years the radiation will eventually take it's toll on the card.Hope this helps.

**Q: Would this be any good for vlogging?**
A: No

**Q: Does it film**
A: Unfortunately not. The 350D is now 10 years old video on a DSLR came later.

**Q: I'm starting a photography course in new year and looking for a good camera that's not going to break the bank any ideas plz**
A: I have had my EOS 350 for some 4 years or so, and although the model has been updated, I would not change mine. The only "downside" for me is that compared to other digital cameras it is a bit bulky, but as I say I would not change it. In my opinion you could do a lot worse than purchasing this camera.
