I purchased this claw machine as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old granddaughter. The claw does not open or close. The chain that holds the claw is to long so it drags over the prizes. Oh and the little containers that is supposed to hold the tiny stuffies are to small, i had to hold them shut with a bit of tape. If I could give a zero rating I would. Whoever made this toy should be ashamed of themselves. What a waste of money.

This mini Claw Machine has a charming concept but falls short in execution. I picked it up thinking it could add a playful touch to my space, but the design has some definite quirks that limit its appeal. The biggest issue is the prize drop area—there's no barrier, so prizes can easily slide out with just a bump or if the machine is jostled. This makes the whole "win your prize" concept feel a bit undermined when kids see rewards tumbling out without effort. The lack of a secure mechanism there is frustrating, especially for young users trying to earn a prize the proper way. The claw itself is another weak point. It only closes fully when completely lowered, making it tricky to grab prizes unless the exact setup is just right. For kids, particularly in the younger part of the 3-8 age range, the controls feel overly finicky. The crank mechanism for moving the claw is mechanical, which can lead to jerky or inconsistent motion, and the machine’s lightweight build means it wobbles around during play unless it's held steady. A set of suction cups to stabilize it would have been a simple yet effective improvement. On the positive side, the design is undeniably cute, and the machine does function as described when properly adjusted. It runs on either USB power or 4 AA batteries, which is a nice touch, but the controls require a level of finesse that may frustrate young users. For older kids or those with more patience, it might be a fun activity, but it’s not an instant hit for every child. For the price, I expected better stability, smoother controls, and a design that kept prizes securely inside. This could be a fun toy with a few DIY tweaks, but as it stands, it’s more frustrating than fun for its target audience.

There’s nothing I don’t like about this craw machine! It is super fun for the entire family, kids and adult! My kids love construction cars so they love the design and that is easy to play with. It is pretty durable, sine it had been pushed, knocked down by the kids several times and still works like new. Personally, my favorite part of the toy is it kept the kids busy for a while, so the busy mom get to have a short break. It does come with small toys but not many, so I did buy some extra toys to refill. Overall. I think it’s a great value for the money and would definitely recommend it !
