This is a sturdy high quality replacement for Land Rover key fobs. Everything transferred perfectly to this new case and it works well!

Honestly I didn’t expect it to feel so sturdy. It fits tightly and is of a good quality. The dealership wanted $45 but this one is a great replacement for much less. The only downside is that it doesn’t say Range Rover on the silver piece.

Fits perfect for my LR2. All buttons work. Took a while to close it, eventually figured it by comparing with the original one.

This is a great alternative to an expensive replacement. One note: when taking my circuit board out of the old fob to put it into this fob, the circuit board would not sit snugly. There were two small Pins protruding from the inside of the case for the circuit board to rest on, but my circuit board already had two small pins on underneath it to rest into the fob. It took just two seconds and a needle nose pliers to bend the pins off, but this was a required step. After that they worked great. I replaced two, and on one I pinched off the pins in the fob and the other I pinched off the pins on the bottom of the circuit board. Both ways worked. Also I was able to use the “back” half of my old case just so I could keep the LandRover logo. Also note that this case does NOT include the emergency key rod, so you’ll need to re-use that piece from your old fob.

If you're looking at this, your keyfob is likely falling apart. The dealer will fix it, but for huge bucks. You can just do it yourself with this thing for a mere 10 bucks. The old circuit board will snap out of your old case, as will the emergency key, and all just snap easily into the new housing. You can be finished in fewer than five minutes. The new one won't have the same textured finish are the original, but that's the stuff that just gets goopy and peels off, which is why you're here. Just Do It.

Needs an instruction manual to teach you how to take both the replacement unit apart and the original. Otherwise you end up breaking both trying to figure it out. My suggestion buy two or three. I never could get the original apart and the replacement ended up breaking. Good idea, poorly executed.

For the price, I was expecting a cheap knock off of my Land Rover key fob. What I got was a well made, sturdy replacement. Doesn't have the shiny back with logo (comes matte black plastic) as original - - but feels sturdy and accepted the electronic board well (pins holding it in place are a hair thin, but rubber gasket holds everything in place anyway) - chrome piece fits TIGHT (which is great, cuz my old one kept falling off)

Perfect replacement for stock key fob at a fraction of the price. Looks great. Feels solid and works perfectly.

Satisfactory replacement of OEM

Pic shows product with my original RR metal side piece fitted. The product comes with a plain (unbranded) metal side piece. Inner required some minor plastic trimming to fit internal control board properly. Excellent replacement for original. Hard to tell them apart.

Look great and like the originals, but neither fob could have buttons pressed afterwards and one would not have the silver cover slide back on. Complete waste of money and time and back to putting together the original old cases that actually fit and work.

Had to be returned as not all of the buttons worked.
