A Practical Solution for Comfort: Toilet Riser Review
After remodeling my bathroom with a tankless toilet, I unexpectedly encountered discomfort due to the standard 16.1-inch seat height. The low position was causing pain in my knees, prompting me to search for alternatives. While comfort height tankless toilets exist, they came with a hefty price tag that didn't fit my budget. Enter the toilet riser - a simple yet effective solution that allowed me to keep my new tankless toilet while addressing my comfort needs. This 3-inch riser significantly improved the seat height, making it much easier on my knees. Pros: 1. Affordability compared to purchasing a new comfort height toilet 2. Easy installation and compatibility with my existing tankless toilet 3. Crisp white color that matches well with the toilet 4. Substantial improvement in comfort for those with knee issues Cons: 1. Aesthetic compromise - the riser extends out in front of the toilet, altering its sleek look 2. May not be an ideal long-term solution for those prioritizing bathroom aesthetics While the toilet riser does impact the visual appeal of my newly remodeled bathroom, I found that the trade-off between beauty and comfort was worthwhile. The improvement in my daily comfort far outweighs the minor aesthetic drawback. In conclusion, this toilet riser proved to be a practical and cost-effective solution to my unexpected comfort issue. It successfully bridges the gap between standard and comfort height toilets, making it an excellent option for those dealing with knee pain or mobility issues. Both my knees and I are grateful for this simple yet effective bathroom addition.

easy to install, clean, nice looking product
I have a sagging floor with toilet flange too far from the floor so the toilet would wobble. This product solved my problem. After reinforcing the support underneath, the extra height made it possible for my toilet to sit flush with the flange and is now very stable

Helps with squatting
Raises toilet a few inches to make it easier to get on or off the throne for older folks and disabled. Can be DIY if you are handy else get a plumber.

I have had this riser for about 4 or 5 years. This toilet riser is great. My husband was 6' 5" and needed extra height for the toilet even tough we have a taller toilet. It sits on the floor and the toilet sits on top of it. This is a lot more sturdy than the risers that fit on the toilet seat. Quality and height are very good. The only draw back is that you will need someone remove your toilet and reinstall it after the riser is installed My husband has since passed away but I am going to leave it installed. I am 5'4" but it still works for me.

Best Solution So Far
I am six foot tall and after having had two stokes I found that standing from any low sitting furniture to be very difficult. After leaving rehab I had a plastic seat riser that attached to the top of my toilet and it sucked! I found this on the internet and Amazon had the best price I could find so I got it. It is made of plastic and supports 500 lbs according to the documentation. The plastic shell has webbed ribs to make it stronger. The kit includes everything needed to install it. I had mine installed by a plumber due to my condition. Everything went well and quickly. Having had it now for several weeks I have these observations to make. First - my toilet is not as sturdy as it was when sitting on my concrete slab. Don't get me wrong, it is not in any way wobbly or dangerous, it is just not as sturdy as it was before. This may be due to irregularities in my floor. But I still feel that if it were made of some stronger material it would be better! Second - at six foot tall I find it just right when I am wearing shoes. When I am barefoot it is just a tad too high to be comfortable. Given how hard it is too stand up when it was lower, I would take "too high" any day of the week!! So even if I were shorter I would still choose this over the normal toilet height. Third - This is the best solution I have seen for raising a toilet. The plastic seats that attach to the top of the bowl look ugly, keep the lid from working, require more time when cleaning, and generally put off anyone else who uses it! All in all, this is money well spent, even if I did have to add the cost of a plumber to install it. :o)

Sturdy
This makes a huge difference for my senior citizen. Sturdy and permanent ; far surpasses wobbly raised seats. Keeps things more sanitary too as there is no longer a gap between the over the toilet seat (the previous solution) and the bowl

Sitting on the Throne
This is the my second purchase of this toilet riser. The first one was easily to installed and the second one just as easily. Just remember this requires you to lift a good amount of weight. I found it easier to disassemble the tank from the toilet to reduce the amount of lifting weight. Great product. Looks like a perfect match when installed. Comes with everything in the box. I have one more toilet to do.

Excellent product.
Had this over 5 years now, was easy to install,(with some plumbing experience). Used in a household where 3 are over 200 lbs, and one disabled guy of 400 lbs uses it daily. Still cleans easily. Excellent product.

Just what I needed!
I have rheumatoid arthritis and so this makes it easier to sit or get up from the toilet. Much easier on my knees. I don't like the look of raised toilet seats and found this to be a much better option.
