The Phone Can Even Handle My 8+ Hours a Day Well.
So the iPhone was as expected. It was factory reset so I had to set it up for the first time. My first couple days on the iPhone were very nice. Something I will say is the setup process.. my old Android phone I transferred from was actually very bad, so it was hard to transfer over my data from the Android to the iPhone with stuff failing multiple times. Anyway, when I finally got it working the phone ran flawlessly. I didn't bother with maintenance mode to test it cause the phone acted as expected. Very good connectivity, although I'll say it wasn't that good because of the area I live in. But it is definitely way better than my old phone. It had 86% battery health so that was good. It was overall very worth it. The colors on the screen were insane and the screen quality. I just wish there was a bit less scratches but with a screen protector they all disappear. Make sure you get a decent screen protector and case not those cheap trash. The screen protector I got was cheap because at the time I couldn't get the best ones but even so its pretty good. It scratches easily though... but that's not related to this product. The phone can even handle my 8 to 10 hours of usage somehow nearly without charging and that's including using YouTube, playing games, using picture and picture mode for a little bit, calls, stuff like that. It can actually handle that, I wonder how powerful a new iPhone will be. (I plan to get a new iPhone in September). I don't know what else to say other than the Phone was very good.

100% Battery Capacity - Cycle Count 0
I purchased renewed premium because of the 90%+ battery capacity guarantee. The iPhone 15 Pro Max I received was at 100% battery capacity with a cycle count of 0. Settings show the phone was first released from back stock in October 2025, and first used in February 2026. It’s practically brand new, despite being a 2023 model, and the battery must have been replaced with a new OEM one during refurbishing. Extremely pleased. I feel that the up charge for renewed premium is well worth it. Appearance: one microscopic chip on titanium housing, one small hairline scratch on frosted back glass that is not visible from 5+ inches away. Titanium housing is prone to fingerprints, while frosted back glass never absorbs fingerprints. Screen appears to be OEM. Full functionality, no issues. Cameras all OEM also, no issues.

BE AWARE OF THE RISKS - I spent hours fixing Amazons issue
Updated: since writing the below review, I have received my second 15 pro max renewed premium, set it up, and handled the refund from the first one. Amazon customer support also offered me a generous discount on the new phone for all the hassle (which I somewhat needed to initiate asking for, I doubt they would have offered that to begin with). If I had to do it all over again - I would have still gone this route since apple refurbished hasn’t released this model yet, but moving forward- I will probably order straight from apple refurbished next time or just get a new iPhone. When factoring the discount I got on this one that’s one year old, I paid about 2/3 the cost for this compared to the latest model, so I can’t complain. All that said, in general I am one who much more values my time and ease over saving a quick bucks. Especially if that quick buck saved costs me HOURS of my life in hassle. If you’re like me in that sense - proceed with caution. I trust Amazon will help make it right if you don’t get a great phone as expected, but even if that’s the case, you’re probably in for quite the hoops to jump through in order to make that happen. Here’s my original, unedited review: I ordered the iPhone 15 Pro Max refurbished and it arrived last night. After spending a good 3+ hours setting it up, I realized the lens for the main camera was broken. From the outside, you can’t see any issue. It wasn’t until I opened up the camera app that I actually saw it didn’t work. “Renewed Premium” carries a certain standard with it, and this certainly does not meet that in the slightest. On top of that, upon calling customer support, I was told that I would not be able to do anything unless I deactivated the phone and remove my Apple ID from it. Wouldn’t have been the end of the world if I needed to go back to my other phone for a bit, however, in order to set up this phone with the eSIM, deactivated my previous SIM card. Upon explaining all of that to customer support, I was told there was nothing they could do unless I deactivated this phone (leaving me without a phone until they received this and shipped me a new one) I was then told to call Apple to see what they can do, when honestly, this is their mistake. Either way, I called apple and it was going to be another set of hoops to jump through with scheduling appointments and all that. Plus since I didn’t have apple care, if they needed to repair the camera, I would still be without a phone. So even if Apple was able to help fix this, the issue of me not having a phone would still be there. Had I broken this camera myself - I would certainly except those terms given there’s not much else I could do. However, this was given to me in this condition and for Amazon to leave me with the responsibility of fixing their mistake due to carelessness in inspection and quality control is absurd. So whether I like it or not, I am now STUCK with the responsibility of cleaning this up since my account is connected to this phone now. What at one point could have been a great gift to myself has turned into the biggest hassle I’ve experienced buying/returning anything, probably ever. I’m going to give this one more shot as I’ve now ordered another iPhone from them to be delivered shortly, however, it’s also required me to spend another ~$1000 in having that iPhone sent prior to me getting my refund. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Even if this next phone is perfect, I’m likely never going to order from the Amazon refurbished store again. I’ll either go straight to Apple refurbished, or brand new, for any of my future phone/laptop/device purchases. On top of all this hassle, I’ll certainly have to spend another few hours setting up my replacement phone once it arrives. All the time I’ve invested into this so far has NOT been even close worth the “nice discount” on a premium refurbished phone that should have arrived without issue to begin with. Amazon - take note. Change your policies. Making this the customer’s mess to clean up is not acceptable. Potential buyers - BEWARE of the risks. I’ll plan to update this review if anything changes. But like I said, even if the next phone I ordered is perfect, I still give this a 1-star review for all the hassle and lack of responsibility the company took to resolve this. P.s. i’ll also add that I am a quite understanding and peaceful person. The person I spoke with from customer support was doing his absolute best to help me, but this was clearly a bigger issue than he had the power to solve. I requested to have this escalated to upper management and was told the same thing. Whoever is the one making decisions about what can and can’t be done needs to hear about this.

Five Stars: Great value for 512GB, indistinguishable from a new one.
I was a bit hesitant to buy a refurbished phone, but the Renewed Premium tag really lived up to its name. The iPhone 15 Pro Max arrived in a professional Amazon-branded box with a high-quality cable. • Cosmetic Condition: I inspected it under direct light and couldn't find a single scratch on the screen or the titanium frame. It looks 100% brand new. • Battery Health: This was my biggest concern, but it arrived with 100% battery capacity (or 99%+), which is amazing. • Performance: The 512GB storage is a lifesaver for 4K videos. FaceID, the Action Button, and the 5x zoom camera all work perfectly. Highly recommend going with Premium if you want peace of mind and a 1-year warranty!

Good Amazon Renewed iPhone, but battery health could be better
I’m based in Nigeria and ordered this iPhone 15 Pro Max through Amazon Renewed, shipping it first to a friend’s address in the US before receiving it myself. The phone arrived in very good cosmetic condition and looks almost brand new. The screen, frame, and camera lenses are in great shape, with only a very slight cosmetic mark that’s barely noticeable, especially once a case is on. Battery health is at 86% with a relatively high cycle count, which is still within Amazon Renewed standards. However, for a device that appears to have been heavily used previously, I would have expected battery health closer to 90% or above for a Renewed Excellent listing. Performance looks smooth so far, and I haven’t fully tested the camera and video performance yet. I’ll update this review after more extended use. Overall, this is a solid refurbished device, but buyers who are particular about battery health should take note.

Renewed Excellent iPhone 15 Pro Max
I purchased a “renewed excellent”. Great iPhone 15 Pro Max , everything does work. It’s at 87% capacity for the battery, not bad. A few very light scratches on the front screen, but there is one that is a bit more noticeable than the others. Outside of that the phone is in great condition. I would rate it a 8.5/10. I would have purchased the renewed premium if I knew I would still have to sign for the package. For any one leaving their feedback I would suggest putting the type of “renewed” you purchased. It’ll help others decide which one to go with. Overall great experience.

Excellent Renewed Premium iPhone 15 Pro Max – Looks Brand New
I bought this Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max because I needed a new unlocked phone, and after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did. Most of the phones I’ve bought in the past have been used, and I usually haven’t had too many problems, but this one is exceptional. I chose the Renewed Premium option, and it was definitely worth it. When I received it, the battery was already at 100% after charging, and the phone looked to be in perfect condition. It honestly looked brand new. There were no dents, no scratches, and no visible signs of wear at all. It is unlocked, and I had no problems switching from my SIM setup to eSIM. Setup was easy and everything worked smoothly. I also chose the 512GB version because I wanted more storage than my previous phone, and I’m very happy I went with that size. Overall, if I were to buy a phone from Amazon again, I would absolutely choose the Renewed Premium option. This phone arrived in excellent condition and has been a great purchase.

Good phone but service to help me trade in my phone horrible
My phone is very good. But somehow I missed noting I wanted to trade in my old phone. I’ve already called 3 times and have not received any help at all. They always say wait. I’ve given up on that as well. You give it a deadline but that doesn’t work if the representative doesn’t even know what I’m talking about. I have been sick this month on top of it. Please help me to send back my iPhone 12. Thank you

Le niveau de batterie est à 88% et non 90% et plus comme supposé pour l’état prenium indiqué et comporte énormément de marque d’usure qui le classerais davantage dans l’état correct que prenium

Bad. Save your money and buy from a legit source.
I paid extra for a "premium" version and within months, the half assed seal that either amazon or apple put on this "waterproof" phone failed because it SAT IN THE SAME ROOM AS A SHOWER FOR 10 MINS and moisture got into the camera and now thats completely fogged up and ruined, which has led to the "siri" thing going off every 10 seconds. Making this phone practically unusable. All "AI" and customer support has pointed to a terrible sealing job by whoever "fixed" this phone and sold it. Basically, save the money. In my 15 years of owning an iphone, NEVER has this happened... Only when you buy from a site like this do you get this lmao.
