Does this come with ratchet protectors?

In order to minimize waste we have opted not to include a ratchet protector in this slackline kit. Our research has led us to realize that the majority of people do not use the ratchet protectors and sadly, most just they end up making their way into landfills. If you store the slackline properly and make sure you don’t leave it out in the rain, you will not need to protect the ratchet with a ratchet protector.

Question 2

Can I purchase just a training line with ratchet? I can't seem to find mine from my kit.

Thanks for your question.  We have two different kits:  COMPLETE KIT with Training Line, and the CLASSIC KIT without Training Line.  If you ordered the CLASSIC KIT by mistake, you can return it free of charge through your Amazon "Orders" page and then place an order for the COMPLETE KIT. Problem if tree circumference greater than 60”?  What’s the largest tree that can be used?

Accepted Answer

The ratchet webbing on all our slacklines (blue, red and black) is 8 ft in length, which means a tree with a circumference of 60 inches (5 feet) would work just fine.  As for the largest tree that can be used, any tree with a circumference of up to 7 feet should be no problem at all.  As the circumference gets closer to 8 feet, you start getting closer to maxing out the capacity of the ratchet webbing.  If your tree is close to (but still less than) 8 feet in circumference, you can always go ahead and place an order and simply return the product to Amazon within the 30 day return window if it won't fit with your particular setup.
