Plugs into computer to allow direct sound recording. Playback is great. I adapted this for a model railway, so I replaced the push- button with a reed switch. A magnet then activates the sound. Maybe the manufacturer could consider this option, offering a pre-wired reed switch? Review: Very good product - This works very well. Plugs into computer to allow direct sound recording. Playback is great. I adapted this for a model railway, so I replaced the push- button with a reed switch. A magnet then activates the sound. Maybe the manufacturer could consider this option, offering a pre-wired reed switch? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good product *by A***1 on 27 April 2025* This works very well. I fixed it behind a picture frame as I was making an anniversary gift for my parents. Does exactly what I needed it to do with no problems at all. ### ⭐ Waste of time *by T***N on 3 March 2026* Didn't come with instructions, came with a recording like a flushing toilet that we couldn't remove, could only add one extra recording to the chip instead of multiple ones which we were expecting. ## Frequently Bought Together - Gikfun Recordable Sound Chip - Plays Multiple Recordings, Push Button Control, Customizable Voice Recorder, DIY EK8484 - DollaTek 5Pcs MINI Motion Sensor Detector Module SR602 Pyroelectric Infrared PIR kit sensory switch for Arduino Diy With lens --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/666553156-gikfun-sound-recorder-module-diy-music-voice-recording-module-8](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/666553156-gikfun-sound-recorder-module-diy-music-voice-recording-module-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
