A: not sure what you mean Mary :) Most people consider sugar of any kind a sweetener.
Are you referring to a part of the instructions?

**Q: Do they contain maltodextrin (which is even higher on the glycemic index than cane sugar)?**
A: As a type 1 diabetic, I can tell anyone reading this with certainty that maltodextrin does raise blood sugar SIGNIFICANTLY and therefore you should always check the label. Maltodextrin is a secret enemy of diabetics, and I assume anyone who is non-diabetic and following a keto lifestyle! I don’t see that ingredient listed but am always wary as it is typically used as a thickening agent. I didn’t post this directly to/for you, but trying to inform anyone who is reading this post. Thanks for posting the question!
