A must have for desk job
I went from floor nursing, walking miles a day, to a telephonic phone nursing position where I’m sitting in a chair for essentially 8 hours a day. My legs would hurt from dangling all day in the chair. I needed something to help keep me moving, since I’m so used to waking. This was definitely my answer! I was a little hesitant at first based on the reviews about the pedals stripping and essentially becoming useless after a couple months of use. And I’ve only had this for 5 days so far. So I’m hopeful that the pedals hold up. If not, I’ll change my review. The display starts up when you start pedaling and shuts off after 4-5 minutes of no activity. No need to take the battery out. The pics above show what I did on my first day using it sporadically over 8 hours. It has a distance counter which is nice. The calorie counter seems to count a little less than my Apple Watch, but it is still a great counter for those that don’t have a smart watch. It said I burned 688 calories, while my watch said 753. The counter seems to be based on average, while my watch uses my heart rate. Yesterday I did 32 miles and burned over 800 cals. I do wish that this had a higher tension setting. I would say I’m in good shape, and I’m on the highest tension of 8. But I also know that this isn’t meant to replace a strenuous cardio workout. My heart rate ranges from 100-110’s but if I’m consistently pedaling for 30 mins or more, it will get up to 130’s and you can feel the sweat. Also, I can definitely feel the inner thigh burn. Setup was fairly easy. 10-15 mins max. You really only have to assemble the end plate, front stabilizer, and pedals. I do think the pedals were the hardest part. You screw them in, which was easy enough. But putting the bolts on the back was challenging. Sounds easy until you go to do it. They give you very detailed instructions and even warn that if you don’t put the pedals on correctly, it can harm the product. It seems I put them on right, so I hope it holds up with how much I use it. It does have a carrying handle and would be easy to move around the house. If you are thinking about lugging this back and forth to work, I would probably just get one for each location. It does create a little bit of sound, but mostly a hum. I use mine in between patient calls so I can’t tell you for sure if this hum would be audible on a phone call. I work from home, but I do think it’s quiet enough to not disrupt your office mates. I heard a click today and was worried it was the product but nope! It was my knee. So I’m taking a break. It is addicting and I can see how easy it would be to overwork yourself on this. You can apparently use for your arms, but I haven’t done that just yet. I was considering the deskcycle, but wasn’t sure how committed I would be to using a pedaler so I went with this option since it’s cheaper at $120 vs $190. So far I’m very happy with this option. As I said, I’ve only had 5 days so I will update if it starts making noise, pedals start stripping, or what have you. This product seems to be used a lot by the elderly or people who have had joint replacements and I can see it being great for that use as well. Very multifunctional for people of all different activity levels.

Good product
This unit is on the heavier side, but that’s a good thing. it feels solid and has beefy internal components that should last a long time. Before this, I tried two other brands/models. One had such weak tension it felt like I was just moving my legs through air—completely useless. The other had more tension, but when I checked inside, I realized it was just a spring with cloth pressed against the flywheel. Honestly, that looked like a fire hazard if I used it long enough! definitely not something I felt safe with. That’s why I went with this Sunny Health model with magnetic tension. The resistance feels smooth, reliable, and safe. Maybe it could use a little more tension, but honestly, if it had much more I’d probably just end up kicking it away while pedaling. Overall, it’s exactly what I was looking for and definitely worth buying.

Good for knee replacement therapy
I ordered the Sunny pedal exerciser SF-B0891 after reviewing many pedalers, and returning a recumbent bike as too many pieces to put together. After watching the video on the bottom of the order page by Anthony Maritato, physical therapist, I decided to take a chance on this pedaler as he described ways to use the machine recovering from knee replacment surgery. It should have been easier to put together, but my left pedal bolt was on too tight to unscrew so it took a huge amount of effort and several tools to get it off. You can put together yourself but keep in mind it takes some strength to tighened the pedals. Also, the instructions show the straps of the pedals being white ones on top of the pedal straight across; the ones in my box are like the ones pictured above - a black strap going diagonal across and I wasn't sure if the thick part goes inside or outside - not a big deal I guess but I wanted it to be correct. The machine is quiet which I appreciate and weighs 20 lbs so movable. I like when I pedal - the machine does not move around on laminate floors like others I have used. The tension works for me, but for anyone that wants a real workout it's not sufficient, the highest setting like a #3 or 4 on other machines. I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe and I must keep my feet straight or my heel can touch the floor. I appreciated the price at $103 and the quick 2 day delivey, and have high hopes it will help me with my movement especially on days to hot/cold to walk. Good luck to you and thank you Sunny.

So far so good!
Keyword points: Quiet, sturdy, easy to use, fairly easy to put together, smooth, good tension differences Why I got this: Since the outbreak of COVID, I've been primarily working from home. I am at my computer desk for about 12 hours a day, 7 days a week (work and video games). My step count is laughable. In June of this year, I had a heart attack (MI) due to blood clots from a kidney stone. It scared me. I had always thought these under-desk exercise machines weren't really all that much "exercise" as they seemed too low-impact. After the heart attack, I reevaluated my stance and realized that while they may not help me shed any weight or gain any lean mass, they will help my leg circulation. Due to the MI, I wanted to work on my overall health and this seems to be a great means of doing so while I'm at my desk. Ease of assembly: Pretty easy. It's not like 'take out of the box and use' easy, but there are only a few parts to put together and the instructions are very VERY clear. It took me about 20 minutes total from unboxing to using. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for "Easy to assemble" only because if you're planning on using this for PT with your arms, it may be a bit of a challenge to get all the bolts tightened enough Ease of use: SUPER easy. The only issue I had after putting it together was that I could not change the settings and it wouldn't calculate my rotation/distance. I had taken out the plastic strap and the display was on, but there was no functionality to the display as far as options or seeing use. I followed the directions to replace the battery (this is probably the most difficult part of the entire machine) and now it works perfectly. I'm assuming the battery that came with it may have been old/not so full of juice, but whatever the case, they do send a second battery and it works fine. Turning the tension knob is easy and the pedals move exactly as expected. The machine doesn't slide on my carpet when in use unless I'm meaning to slide it. It has good enough traction that I don't worry about it moving while I'm using it. Other notes: This is very quiet. The nosiest part of it was that I could hear my pants leg rustle against my chair. Comfortable. I was worried that the angle I'd need to put my legs to use this would be awkward while sitting in my desk chair. This is not the case. I used to have a footrest under my desk, and this has replaced it entirely because it is very comfy and the height is perfect. It doesn't take up a ton of space, it's barely bigger than my footrest, not too high, and not too wide. The packaging was easy to open and the machine easy to take out. Each part was clearly marked. Even the pedals had little removable tags on them to remind you exactly how to attach them! The instructions were perfectly clear, not once did I have to guess what they meant by something or try to figure something out myself. Each step was outlined, there were diagrams, and all needed tools came with the product. Would I buy it again?: Yes, I would. I did get the warranty on it to be on the safe side (10% of the purchase price, so just under $10), but so far, this thing seems to be exactly what I had hoped it would be. I have not had this for too long, and if my stance on this product changes, I will update this review.

Great, comfortable way to exercise
I've been basically sedentary since I started working from home in 2021, and it's been so hard to work up the motivation to exercise more than once or twice a week. I purchased this recently and it's a game changer, I can easily do at least two hours at a pretty decent speed and I've already lost three pounds. My only critique is I wish the resistance level could go higher, the highest setting is barely a challenge for me and I could use a higher setting just to strengthen the muscles around my knees. Otherwise, it's a great product. It doesn't shift on carpet at all, this was the lowest height I could find since I have a pretty low deal and I have to scoot my chair back so my knees don't hit my desk, but it's still possible to type this way. It's also pretty quiet, your air conditioner is probably going to be louder. I fully recommend this product if you're looking to be more active in your desk job. Update: still going after 1.5 year. I have a daily goal of twenty minutes minimum and it has made a tangible difference in my fitness level, I recently went jogging with my dog for the first time in ages (knee issues), and didn't get winded at all. Still wish there was a higher resistance level, but if you're not sure about this puppy, just go for it. It's much, much better than nothing and hardly feels like working out at all.

Didn't operate as smoothly as I hoped.
I bought this to help me recover from knee replacement surgery. Assembly was easy enough for me. I had to purchase an anti-slip mat to use it on my hard floors or it scooted around too much. The rotation of the pedals was not very smooth and the tension adjustment was not evenly graduated. I considered returning it, but that would have required disassembly to fit it back into the original box, a difficult or impossible task with a damage risk, so I used it for about a month and donated it. Someone who is happy riding a base level Huffy bike may be very satisfied. I found it awkward and uncomfortable to use.

Very well made
I really like this pedal exerciser, I have worn out two different cheaper ones, this one seems like it will last a long time.

I recommend it to anyone.
It is perfect if you work in an office or while you are on a break. It has helped me quite a bit—it relaxes your muscles while simultaneously strengthening them, provided you use it consistently.

Prodotto Eccellente. Molto Stabile, Molto Silenzioso.
