These are so easy and they look good and aren't small or anything 👍 this is an 8.5"x11" book, so the bow span without the tail things is just under 5". but now that I look at it, the one I used is a different pattern than any in the pictures. Luckily I'm not picky. I'll definitely order these in the future, but it'll take me a while to get through this pack first.

I ruined three of them trying to follow the not very useful instructions that just say pull the ribbons from the middle. I finally figured it out so I improved the rating but I did dock them one star for poor directions. If you are reading this before you start using your bows let me see if I can explain. Open the package, and unfold the bow till it's laying out in a long strip of ribbon. On the end where the ribbon is cut at an angle, open the two pieces and you will find two narrow ribbon/strings inside. Take hold of them both and gently but firmly slide the wide bow ribbon up, pulling these drawstrings evenly as you go. It will fold itself up into a lovely bow. Tie off the pull strings in a knot and then if desired, cut them off or use them as additional decoration. I was able to salvage two of the three bows that I ruined by restringing them once I understood how they worked. The first one I tried just fell apart and was unsalvageable. But as you can see, once you get them to work they're lovely. I use hot glue to affix my bows because I live in a very dry environment and bows with adhesive fall off within a day. It worked great for these bows. I'll be buying lots more of this style in the future.

They come flat . Pull the tiny ribbons with one hand while putting the other hand up close to the bottom of what will be the bottom of bow. Pull the very thin ribbons keeping the other hand up to the bottom.. Tie the 2 thin ribbons you are done!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:They are absolutely beautiful, but every third one tore apart when I tried to use it. ??????
