really liked this gel eyeliner. Lasts me all night without having to reapply and has great pigmentation. Only cons is that there is very slight smudging when trying to apply, and the silicone tip makes it a little harder to draw a long wing. Other than that its great!

This black gel eyeliner comes in a little pot, and has an applicator with a silicone tip to apply. The pictures make the tip look pointed and straight, but mine came a little swooped/bent, so I'm not sure which way it's actually supposed to be. This definitely takes some patience and skill to apply neatly without messing up. Also because of the deep crease in my eyelids, this did smudge on my eyelids before it had a chance to dry since I blinked. Instead of trying to remove it and risk messing up the line I already drew, I just covered it with eye shadow for the day... The good news is that this eyeliner stayed on well all day, even with my greasy eye lids. It is possible to rub off if you rub it too hard, but just accidentally touching my face every now and then did not smudge this on my eyes. When it came time to remove, it also came off very easily with makeup remover. The downside for me is actually the pot it comes in and the applicator. I'm more used to using eyeliner pens, and so having to pause and look down and redip the applicator every other stroke was kind of annoying for me.

I like it

This gel is thick but the silicone "brush" picks up the gel fine. When applying it, it gets frustrating to work with. I can't do one full smooth line and have to continuously put more gel on the applicator to get the full line. I would prefer to do the line all in one go vs. segmented lines. The silicone brush is great in theory but it's too flexible for me. There were multiple times that the tip kicked out to the side of where I was trying to line and caused the eyeliner to go elsewhere on my lid. Once the eyeliner is on, it looks great and definitely holds. I did a test line on the back of my hand before trying it on my eyes and even with bathing and hand washing, while it's not as pigmented as when I first applied it, the line is still there (I have dry skin so that may make it last longer). I'm not overly impressed other than how long it lasts.

The tip of the brush makes it easy to draw a fine line on my eye line. I have not heard of Nykaa before, but they seem to be a huge global cosmetic brand. The gel dries quickly so you have to be quick about applying it. I would want this in other colors as well. For now, it seems to only be available in black.
