Outstanding sprayer!
I've been using my sprayer for about 3 weeks now. Just yesterday and today I sprayed 6 acres of avocado orchard where weeds were growing between the rows and between trees. I pretty much worked non-stop each day for 6 hours and the battery never showed any signs of weakening. I do believe they are correct when they say it'll spray 50- gallons on one charge. It doesn't leak, it's very quiet and it's comfortable with it's wide straps and harness. Here's the thing: I am not spraying continuously, I'm spraying individual weeds but at times I'll spray for upwards of 5-6 seconds when I encounter a cluster of weeds. The sprayer kept-up just fine but after 4-5 seconds you will notice a reduction in pressure and it starts 'falling-off', after 8-10 seconds you're at half-power. Of course, this will vary depending which spray head you use. Now let me tell you about my awesome modification! Since you no longer have to pump the sprayer, I decided to convert mine into a dual-sprayer unit! I cut the hose about 6 inches coming out of the tank and then went to Home Depot and bought a plastic/nylon Tee fitting. I then got some fuel-injection clamps (not band clamps), these clamps are smooth and let you really cinch down on the hose. I took another hose and sprayer and now I have a sprayer in each hand! This proved to be incredibly more production and faster working through the orchard. You can also bring the sprayers together to double-saturate a weed as well. Did the sprayer keep-up with having TWO sprayers going? Yes, it did but if both sprayers were going for more then 5-6 seconds I did notice the pressure reduced and I wasn't get as much a mist/spray but instead more streaming. Still, double-sprayer is the way to go, I'm surprised they don't offer this already.

Sooo much easier!!
So I decided to do my own weed control in my yard and was told a battery operated sprayer was the way to go. I read a lot of reviews and decided on this Field King 4 gallon sprayer. So to start with the pattern is great and CONSTANT. I have used the pump up kind before and the stream is always changing by how much you have it pumped up wit the handle. This sprayer has a constant pressure so you the stream is constant. Makes it much easier to get an even spray. The wand is plastic but is very heavy duty. The adjustable brass nozzle will go from a straight stream with a lot of reach to a fine cone spray. has a filter for when you load it to keep trash from getting in it. Have sprayed my entire yard 4 times now and have never had to clean out the nozzle. It has a removable battery that you put on the charging cable. i let mine charge over night and I have sprayed five or six tanks and still never run the battery down. The straps are wide and padded so it is pretty comfortable. It is kind of heavy, but it's going to be with 4 gallons of water in it. Another think I like about it is you can back spray into it. I use a powdered pre-emergent so it has to be mixed up well. I just add water and the powder, then stick the nozzle in it and let in run for a few minutes. It will still spray to mix this way with the lid off. My dad was looking for one and I told him about mine. He bought the same one and loves it too.

good battery operated sprayer
I bought this sprayer in 2020; it is still going strong. I have sprayed everything from pesticides and herbicides to stains and waterproofing liquids. It works great. Wish I knew where to get another battery: I heard there is a 4.2amp battery, but I cannot seem to locate one.

Pay attention to negative reviews. This is poor quality.
Very disappointed in this product. Should have paid attention to negative reviews. I think the people who gave positive reviews problably only used it one or maybe two times. My experience is that I needed to put down approx 20 gallons to control underbrush and weed growth. After the third refill the pump sounded like it was constantly pumping and hardly any spray would come out. I tried taking it off, redoing the cap thinking it was possibly misaligned causing a leak which would cause the pump to constantly run since it couldnโt maintain pressure. I worked on it for 15 minutes and never rectified. Finally, I traipsed back to the house and dumped out 4 gallons into my โregularโ hand pump backpack and finished up the last 3 fills of my work. After everything was done, I went back and tried to examine the Field King. Still would not work. Battery indicator on the backpack read a full charge with all LEDs lit. Took the filters off to make sure everything was ok and not clogged and still nothing. Also of note is that like other reviewers you canโt get the last gallon of spray out of the pack. What good is having a 4 gallon backpack when all you can spray is 3 gallons? I guess they think you just want the extra exercise of carrying around an extra gallon. Oh, and donโt forget, this makes it fun when refilling and cutting your chemicals down each time to represent 3 gallons vs. 4 or 2.5 vs. 4. Just donโt waste your time here. Iโm returning for a refund.

Powerful and Convenient Spraying Solution
This battery-operated backpack sprayer is easy to use and makes large spraying jobs much more efficient. The adjustable spray settings work well for different applications, and the battery life holds up during regular use. It reduces the strain of manual pumping significantly. It is a bit heavier when fully loaded, but overall itโs a strong and practical tool for lawn and garden care.

Years of use and still going great!
Had it for about 3-4 years and its been great to use! No issues so far. Great use for spraying pre-emergent. Fill and go. Pumps great to pressurize the sprayer for continuous use. Approximately 3000 sq ft of lawn used on single use.

Great for large areas
The TLDR is that this is an upgrade from my old 2 gallon hand pump carry by my side sprayer I used to use. Definitely makes spraying weeds easier on my larger lot. The good: Holds 2x more than the typical carry next to you type sprayers. Battery operated!!! No more pumping! Battery appears to last a long time. I have used it for about 10 refills and the battery hasn't been charged yet and still works. The wand has a locking mechanism for continuous spraying Seems sturdily built The bad: You can't quite fill it up to the full 4 gallon mark or it overflows in the real world It weighs a lot once it's filled up up. The review: I have used this for about 40 gallons worth of spraying RoundUp Pro Concentrate and I have not had any issues with performance of this. It does get pretty heavy when you have it full of whatever you are spraying so I would recommend that you fill it up while it is sitting on something that is a little elevated off the ground. I choose to do this on the edge of my retaining wall that sits about 3ft off the ground. this allows me to not have to bend down as far to pick it up and put it on. It has a chest clip though that really does help take the load off once you have your arms through the straps. As for the actual spray performance, I have only used the fanning spray nozzle (red tip) and it covers what I need it to just fine. Doesn't get clogged at all. Be sure to read the directions and do a good plain water rinse on it after you get done using your chemicals in it. The battery makes the pump run once you squeeze the sprayer handle and it's pretty quiet. Just sort of purrs on your back and then quits once it gets to pressure or you release the handle. If you pay close attention you can start to hear the pump trying a little harder when you start to get low on your chemical and then about 30 seconds later your nozzle starts the doing the sputter to indicate you are pretty much on "E". it did take a time or two for me to remember to turn the switch to the "On" position before I loaded it on my back but once you get used to it you can sort of feel around for the switch on the left bottom side. All-in-all this is a great upgrade from the bottle sprayers I used to use. Now that I have about 3/4 of an acre of just weed areas alone on my property this really saves me time and energy. I always feel accomplished and like I made a big dent in the weeding work when I get done using this for the day. I would recommend this to anyone that has a semi-large walking area to maintain. Anything over an acre of weeds though would probably warrant a real pull-behind sprayer.

So much better than a manual backpack pump
Well designed and made. Comfortable to wear, easy to put on if lifted onto a table first. Spent a long time looking at reviews of various alternatives. Was a little unsure as this is a USA item incurring tax and import costs but still cheaper than nearest alternative. However, be aware designed for USA mains voltage so need to get a voltage adaptor for charger. Used twice for total of two hours without need of recharge. Bought to replace a hand pumped backpack after giving myself golfer's elbow weedkilling a two acre field. Very glad I did - so much easier and more comfortable

Favourite garden product
This is such a good product. I bought it in 2022 and in 2025 it still works perfectly. The battery lasts forever it seems without a charge and Iโm so happy with this product that I am buying a second one. I use it for watering my gardens and then I also use it for spraying fruit trees. I find it easier to water the garden with this rather than carrying heavy water cans and walking up and down the rows because itโs just easier for me as an older lady to carry the weight on my back rather than carrying the weight of the water on my joints and wrist and shoulders, etc. 10/10 would recommend.

Time Saver
I have a large lawn, about 4000 square ft, and this saved me a ton of time and energy to spray with weed killer. Battery was good on a single charge to do it all, less refilling, and the most important - no hand pumping to pressurize the tank! When full, I suggest putting it on a table or counter and put on the backpack straps (adjust those before filling). Comfortable to carry around, hardly notice it is there once started.

Rubber seal not fitting properly
Absolutely love the sprayer I had been hand pumping for too many years great battery life over all a super great product.one small issue is that the rubber on the top seal doesn't fit snugly it seems to be a bit bigger than it should be which makes taking the top off and screwing it on a bit difficult .as well a spot where the fluid can leak out if it's jostled around a bit..
