I got a 12 pieces set for about $60. The color is so appealing, giving my meal a gourmet look. I love it. Plus, material is strudy and microwave/ dishwasher safe. There was a small chip in one of the large plates and the customer service was amazing. I emailed pokini team and they got back to me within a day with not just a replacement plate but a set of 16. The replacement set has varies of pieces and may be from different sets. Either way, the free replacements given is a demonstration of amazing customer service. First thing I noticed once I unpacked the set was how lightweight it felt compared to my current stoneware set. I liked the grayish green glaze with the cream outside. The bowls coloring was my favorite although I wish they were slightly larger because they do feel small compared to another set I have. They also get hot in the microwave. I warmed up a brownie for 25 secs and the area where the brownie was in the bowl was very hot to where I couldn't hold that section. So I would be concerned about how hot the rest of the set would get in the microwave. I also noticed a small chip on one of the bowls. I liked how compact the set was when stacked in the cabinet. The dinner plate being 10 inches in diameter helps along with the sloped sides that help keep food contained. The lip on the plate doesn't come up too high so it'll fit in the dishwasher or could be stored vertically in a cabinet without issue compared to other modern sets. It doesn't seem like it will be very susceptible to scratches which is nice as well. It doesn't have that high pitched annoying scratching sound when flatware is run along the dish. As much as I like this dinnerware, I do wish the set came with a pasta/larger soup bowl because this set is too expensive for what you get. This should be priced around $50 since it's only 12 pieces. The lightweightness is both a pro and con as I feel if it were SLIGHTLY heavier, it would give a higher quality feel. It's a nice set, I'm just not sure if it's worth the price, but I would still recommend it because of it's look and for those that prefer lighter dinnerware.

We really like this Pokini dinnerware. We've been using it for just under 4 weeks now. We are seeing no scratches or issues developing. We ordered 4 boxes of the basic set (16 large plates, 16 smaller plates and 16 bowls). We weren't sure the bowls would suit all of our dining needs. Six days later we ordered two boxes of the pasta bowls (12 of these total). We are so pleased to have matching bowls of a different shape to provide choice (wider and shallower). We love the colors of the reactive glaze and overall look. Although all of the dishes arrived unbroken, we were not happy with the glaze on one of the large plates (we think a couple of tiny bubbles that caused the glaze not to adhere to the ceramic - thus tiny white unglazed spots). After sending photos, Pokini did send a new plate. We feel this dinnerware is priced fairly for its quality.

I looked around at many, mostly ugly or boring dinning ware sets and kept coming back to this set. This set is not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. It is a quality made ceramic set. The dishes have weight but not to heavy, it's a good balance feeling of I'm not going to break it. Packaging was excellent. I've banged these by accident against each other a number of times and no chips or damage yet. They look great and of quality. Very satisfied.
