My Brita needed a new filter. Now I have 2 extras. They are the best!

I assumed that these were Brita brand "Longlast" filters. No, Brita doesn't make these. Silly me. The box looks similar to old Brita Longlast styling with the orange bevel on the top of the box, and everything about it. Of course it doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it's a good filter. The box talks about it being certified, but I'm skeptical. It says: "The EFFICIENT LONG-LIFE Filter (Model # 0B06) has been tested and certified by the WOA in models 0B21, 0B32 (Amalfi), 0B36 (Color Series), 0B41, 0B43 (Capri), 0B44 (Mini Plus), OB47. 0B50 and 0B53 against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of lead, cadmium, mercury, benzene, chlorine (taste & odor), particulate (Class I) and asbestos." The problem is, who is the WOA? Brita brand filters are certified by "WQA" (note the "Q" not an "O") which is a real company at wqa.org. The logo on this box IS THE WQA LOGO that you can find at wqa.org! (see attached photos) Except it's partly in Spanish without the registered trademark. There is no url or qr code to get more information about the certification to confirm who certified it or if it's actually certified. Searching the web for "JAOAJO" or "WOA" certification, I find nothing about this product, company, or certification. They offer no assurance for how these perform. I don't trust this filter at all. Anyone who lives where they have known contaminants in their water, might want to use a filter that is certified by a real company to know it's going to remove the contaminants they claim. Who knows how much of what contaminants these filters remove, if anything. Also suspicious: the Amazon listing says the UPC code is 772168532760, but the box shows the exact same UPC code as the Brita brand Elite and Longlast filters: 060258362435.

This filter worked well with the older version of Brita, but does not work on the most recent version of Brita.

In the city where I live the public tap water stinks sometimes. The Blue filter is the only filter that I will buy. It is supposed to get particles out of the water better than the white filter. It makes my water taste better. I see so many people upset that it doesn't last 6 months. OK, now ask yourself how often did you filter water thru it a day? My drinking water, coffee, and the two large water bowls for my animals. We go thru a lot of filtered water. Each filter lasts me about 2 months. I have the pitcher and the big one with a spicket. Roughly going to last twice as long as the white filter, and do a way better job of filtering the water. Miliage varies with use.

Worst purchase ever from Amazon. The first filter clogged within a week. Its replacement didn’t filter at all. The water ran straight through it. If I hadn’t run out of time, I would have returned them for a refund. The "Elite" water filter was totally ineffective. The first one clogged after a few weeks. The second let water pass through so rapidly that I doubt it got filtered at all. It is a mistake to buy an off brand. I bought Brita brand filters and they work fine. If it weren't past the deadline, I would return them in a minute.

The filters have no NSF Certication on the packaging. They advertise a reduction of Lead and Arsenic but show no certificatestion to do so. Secondly, the instructions say to remove top cap on filter, lol there is no cap to remove. They appear to be cheap filters.

These filter replacements for the "branded name" pitchers from JAOAJO are fantastic! At first upon opening the packaging I was slightly confused by the size of the filter, as they're about 3/4ths the size of the original style that come with the "branded-name" ones, but after following set-up instructions and placing them in as you normally would, they fit and function great ! These filters really have lived up to and exceeded my expectations and assumptions I had about 3rd party filters, and have shown me they're just as great if not have the chance to be better! It is a great quantity & value for your buck, the quality of the filtration it provides. My tap water is being filtered very well, and these filters help bring me peace of mind with the extra clarifying purpose that filters provide, as well as getting rid of that "tap water" taste that is often prominent in where I live. I really like these, and I think anyone in need of a new filter for their name-brand pitcher should consider these one - I am glad I had the opportunity to check these out especially as a worry wort who often isn't sure if different branded filters and replacements can function as hoped.... they sure do! JAOAJO has made and provided and excellent product for the everyday family at home whose looking to cut down on single use bottles, and maintain health and proper access to a good filter for pitcher!
