If you know...you know.
Can't say enough about these bad boys. I have tons all over the house, garage...and they're infinitely useful for so many things. Let alone being magnetic so you somewhat avoid losing them. Also cool is that the plastic blade can be flipped around if the initial wears out, which is yet to happen and for years.If you've got kiddos at home, a must have as to provide them freedom to open stuff without fear of hurting themselves.Only hiccup is limiting sales of certain types for strange reasons (being deemed a traditional knife). But do yourself a favor and be done with annoying package openers forever. Also don't be like me and - in overuse - keep dropping them in boxes to be recycled and then hunt endlessly to find them.

Works just a nicely as the older green one
I lost my green (auto retracting version) after a whole LOT of years of ownership. Decided to try this version and found I prefer the green auto version more. Product works just fine, however.

Great cutter that isn't metal!
I love this so much, I got one for my friend! It cuts great through cardboard/tape/etc. and the blade is safe--it won't cut you unless you're really making an effort to do so.

Does the job
4 star because it's a little flimsy, it pops apart easily. But was cheap and it does the job. Easier than digging out the scissors of exacto knife for breaking down boxes. And the magnet is nice so I can hang it on the fridge.

Cuts boxes like it is supposed to do
Does what it should do. However, I should have bought an extra cause I keep losing the thing!

Cut like a champion with this box cutter
I open a lot of Amazon boxes, and this little pink contraption is saving my life - one box at a time. It is smooth cutting, without being dangerous. It cuts like a rockstar and you will never know you aren't using an industrial box cutter to slice thru those packages. I'm not saying you *couldn't* cut yourself with one, but if you did then you should never use plastic cutlery either. Enjoy!

Not what I hoped for
This is the second retractable opener that I have purchased. However....my first one was the auto-retractable one - which I HIGHLY recommend. That one felt sturdy and has worked beautifully for a few years now, with no issues with the ceramic blade. This one...is a manual retractable blade, which I didn't think would be an issue. (I wanted the pink color and thought it would be close to the same as the other one I had.) It was worlds apart in terms of how the quality felt. The "manual" part was really stiff to move the blade in and out, and the item itself just didn't have the quality feel that the auto one did. Ultimately - sent it back.
