The Redeki adapters work great. The only gripe I have is the price. These adapters cost three times what I bought similar ones for. I'm hoping that disparaging difference is due to quality of material. Oh well, only time will tell.

I had purchased a cordless impact driver on black Friday at our local hardware store at a very good price and I thought it would be great if I had adapters for sockets. I ordered these and received these pretty quick. I have only used the 1/4" driver so far making a new wooden gate for our deck using the Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig. And they work great. The connection between the adapter and socket are solid without any slop in it. They have a lifetime replacement if one were to break. I would definitely recommend these adapters for your drill or any impact driver.

I would have given this product a higher rating, but when I received This set of bits it was missing the small (1/4) adapter. The backing of the package and the cover are only held together by a few staples. In my case this allowed one of the adapters to fall out. I would suggest the manufacturer use a more reliable package for tier product.I have some great news now,REDEKI has been great in the way they have handled my issue. Today I recieved the full set of socket adapters. I now change my rating to a 4 for the outstanding customer service. However they could have earned a 5 if I experienced no hassle to start with. They said they will be designing a new package that will be more secure!Happy customer :)

If you have a drill, you must own a set of these (or an equivalent). If you own an impact drill, you must own a set of these (or equivalent). For clarification, simply using these on a “normal” drill (i.e., non-impact drill) does not magically transform your drill into an impact drill. You must have an impact drill (spins like a normal drill until under load and then uses a hammering/impact action to tighten/loosen fasteners). Of course, it’s the impact feature of a drill that really takes its toll on adapters of this type and causes them to break. But I give credit to REDEKI, they make no bones about the fact that these may break and will cover them no questions asked under their lifetime warranty. When an unstoppable force (your drill) comes into contact with an immovable object (stubborn fastener), that’s when things get exciting!Anyway, how are these things? These are great little adapters which allow you to attach ¼”, 3/8” or ½” sockets to your drill. I regularly use all three sizes on my 18V impact drill and haven’t any problems with any of them breaking. I’ve even used the ½” size to try and remove lug nuts on my car…my drill wasn’t powerful enough to remove them but I did let it hammer away on the lug nut for about 10 seconds before I stopped and the adapter held together.As much as I like these, I’m only going to give them 3 stars because of the price. These are more than twice as expensive (3X in some cases) than similar adapters out there made out of the same chrome-vanadium steel.

I was looking for a product like this for a decking project and it came in real handy when securing large bolts through 4x4 posts. The bits performed well and helped me get the job done quickly.
