Great alternative to other powders. Blends well.
I like this powder - I am lactose intolerant and allergic to peas so I can't do powders that contain dairy or pea protein. I was surprised to see a 100% beef powder! It blends well and is flavorless. As long as you blend it well and add something fruity you will not have a chalky texture or after taste. I make my shake with creatine, collagen powder, banana, oat milk, orange juice. Sometimes a spoonful of olive oil. It's pretty light and does NOT fill me up which is good (for me) because I am on a weight gain journey .. so I can drink this for the extra calories without it messing with my appetite. Overall, yes I will keep purchasing and I would recommend it to others looking for an alternative form of protein powder for weight and muscle gain

It tastes great in the right context.
I feel so bad for this poor protein powder with all the hate it's receiving. It's actually a more economical version of the very expensive Equip grass fed beef protein isolate. It tastes identical to that IMO. I think the reason it's being knocked on taste so much is because some are expecting it to be a 1:1 replacement for whey. It doesn't taste like whey. I personally do not attempt to drink this cold and have never had a problem. I mix this with boiling water or milk, using a frother, and it dissolves perfectly. Then I sweeten to taste. I also sometimes add it to waffle batter for additional protein and cannot taste it. I agree with others that inside the container, it has an aroma, but once it's mixed into anything, that dissipates. If you hated it cold, try it hot. Add coffee, cocoa, etc. (anything strong) and I bet you'll find it more palatable. For 20g complete protein per scoop, it's worth another try!

Perfect Non-Dairy Protein
I’m 2 months postpartum and have cut out all dairy, but needed some extra protein to start my day. This has been PERFECT. The unflavored version is perfect in smoothies and there is no chalky aftertaste. Postpartum must!

Works for us
We like this one because it is unflavored and no artificial sweeteners. Much better than the vanilla or chocolate.

Don’t give up!
I don’t write a lot of reviews but this one feels necessary. I’ve been struggling with finding a protein option that is dairy free and isn’t a vegan option with pea proteins. I was so excited to find this one. Then I used it for the first time and felt defeated. I tried to blend it with fruit and coconut water as I usually mix my shakes and it was just awful. The taste, the smell. But I was stuck with this big tub I just bought so I refused to give up. I decided to blend this today with a bit of water, coconut Greek yogurt (again, I am dairy free) ice cubes, cacao powder, pure maple syrup and a small amount of coconut milk. Although it wasn’t sweet enough for me yet, I could not small or taste the powder this time! I love a good mix of strawberries and chocolate so I then threw about a half cup of frozen strawberries in the blender and this was the trick. Although I used a little too much cacao powder, I’ll use half that next time and eliminate the coconut milk. The main point being, no taste or scent of the powder. I only gave 4 stars because it is a more difficult powder for my palate. If you bought this and hate the taste, don’t give up. There’s options to blend it with, you just might have to get creative with this one!

Clean, protein powder
The only protein powder I use is plain beef protein isolate, this and 1 other brand. It blends well with a frother in my clean coffee if I have a bit of cream. I needed more protein, but I don't tolerate most powders. I am thankful to have found this one.

Nasty protein powder
This protein tastes so horrible that I have to hold my nose and chug it down with milk and then chase it with something that tastes delicious. It's also outrageously expensive and you can purchase prepared protein drinks cheaper that taste good. I've purchased chocolate flavored beef isolate protein and although it wasn't as bad, it was still disgusting. This may be high quality protein but if you can't drink it, what's the point.

Great product!!
I’m sharing this because I’m not sure the existing reviews would have led me to purchase. I am carnivore so I’m desiring more protein. I usually buy equip, but it’s getting too expensive so I thought I would try this. It was $15 cheaper. I do have a Vitamix so that is how I’m blending it. It was no different than any other protein powder I have used in a smoothie. It does not clump or taste any different. The taste is fine but again I’m using fruit in my smoothie. I put no added sugar. when I opened the bucket it does not smell awful as others indicated at least from my perspective. I cannot talk about the digestibility because I haven’t used it enough, but I’ll return back if I have problems with that I will continue to buy it. Its a great product.
