If you have a habit of leaving your phone in the goat house, wish to charm the older folk, or want..
If you have a habit of leaving your phone in the goat house, wish to charm the older folk, or want another device to play your favorite 2006 gba game Mother 3 this gorgeous brick is for you. Yes, this cockin' peice of equipment truly has it all. I lost my last phone in the chaos of treating my dear nubian goat 'Sweetie' for scours, not sure wether i left it outside or it fell into a pile of the liquds that were pouring from her rear. But either way it was gone, and honestly wouldn't have lasted much longer either way, ive never had my phones stay alive on me more than a year. But this gorgeous thing is so rugged and heavy that it makes my hardened toll hands look petite. I could use the screen to stir the milk into my piping hot cup of Yorkshire tea, while video calling my good buddy many miles away in England, and the thing would find it enriching. Every old person thats seen it so far has fallen in love and wished it to be their own. and whipping it out in a crowd of pretentious people who brag about their new apple ipod225egad+ is truly satisfying. They can laugh at it if they wish, but they will never know the joy of simple joy of sitting outside in the grass for hours and thinking of things that make you happy. All they know is scrolling that certain horrid app at the tiniest trickle of boredom and using ai to write their essays, further destroying their ability to think and use their brains. I was a bit worried about the complications of getting service to it and wether it was truly unlocked because it seemed some people had troubles with it, but I was able to do it easily without hassle. The programmable button on the side is immensely handy, i set it to turn on my flashlight which speaking of is very bright. The camera and microphone quality really isn't half bad, actually better than my previous phone, ill attach a few photos taken with it. You cant do professional photography with it but it does its job. I did see a few complaning about short battery life but I haven't been bothered by that at all yet. It might drain quickly if your spending hours on it scrolling, but if thats what your doing with it, its not really the phone for you, It lasts me multiple days with light use. And it can emulate Mother 3!!! And you can use the physical buttons as the controller instead of having crap ones on the screen!?! This phone is truly a work of art. it might not be for everyone but it was exactly what I needed in a phone, I highly recommend it. Edit: after a good run of 4 months I have already very tragically lost my gorgeous beloved phone, it did not break, and I guarantee it is still functioning wherever it is. I simply accidentally dropped it in the woods somewhere while taking my previously mentioned Sweetie for a walk, but It served me incredibly well in that time, when I someday get another phone, it will be for sure one of these. After my time with it I could never use another. It was nice having people have the ability to call me but for now it might be best to go back to my phoneless ways, until we meet again cat s22 my love.

Great flip phone- durable, high quality, and easy to use!
I have been super happy and excited about this phone. I have gone through many different flip phones and have been very dissapointed by the quality and performance. When I got this phone I did not have such high hopes, however I am really enjoying using it and don't have any complaints! First of all, the phone is super durable and has not gotten any damage from falling on the floor or by being dropped. The screen size is smaller than a regular iPhone but still large enough that you can read text messages without squinting. The operating system is the same as regular android phones which makes it easy to navigate. I have service though RedPocket mobile (T-mobile) and have not had any issues with connectivity. One con is that in order for people to hear you clearly through the phone you need to have it positioned in a specific way near your ear or else the person on the other part of the line can't hear you. The speakerphone is great and the phone works well with apple airpods as well. The phone holds charge well and can last a day to a day and a half without being charged. Overall, this was a great buy and I highly recommend to anyone who wants a reliable and durable flip phone.

Phones Basic Functionalities do not work
This phone had many problems which caused me to write a negative review. Keep in mind that a lot of my problems described could be that the phone uses android 11, which has been out of life since 2024. However I believe if a phone is still purchasable brand new then it should be expected to work. A large hardware issue for me is that as soon as I started to use the phone the 3,6, and 9 t9 buttons would get double clicked when I would press the key once. Sometimes even 3 clicks for every single press. This makes it almost impossible to use the physical buttons on the phone for typing. My phone was also not able to pick up group message texts. For context I switched from a IPhone Xs to this flip phone. I tried changing the RCS and MMS settings on the phone. I also tried unsubscribing from IMessage on my Iphone. Lastly I tried to recreate new group chats under my google account which also failed to pick up any messages from users in the group chats I created. A software/ hardware issue I ran into was with the speaker. sometimes during the day the audio would stop working on the phone, despite changing multiple volume options. The only way to fix this was for me to restart the phone. On average I was restarting my phone at least 3 times a day to deal with the speakers giving out. I intentionally bought this phone so I wouldn't spend so much time on it. I know downgrading from a IPhone to a flip phone would be a difficult transition however I had so many problems with basic phone functionalities that I need to return this.

Good phone, missing good t9 typing, but highly customizable otherwise
Well built phone! No technical problems just lacking some features that I would appreciate and took some getting used to. I previously had a Sunbeam F1 Pro Aspen flip phone. I loved that phone, it was simple, well designed, cute, etc. But after a year, the camera and the touchscreen stopped working and that made it harder to use. I got this phone because the price seemed fine and I’ve heard good things. But I also heard some bad things including: double typing letters, heating up, slow. Honestly I haven’t had those problems! The battery life is great, function is great, easy to use with some modifications. I installed O launcher to make it more minimalist but I can use apps I like such as YouTube music and google maps. My main complaint is that I can’t use the keypad to type!!! I loved T9 predictive text, I hate that I can’t do that easily on this phone. I tried installing apps to let me do it but they were clunky and didnt have a way to use !?:() and emojis… So I deal with the touchscreen keyboard which thankfully has swiping text and voice text. I installed google keyboard to make the experience better. Thankfully this phone is customizable. That’s all I have to say!

One of the only options in the semi-dumb phone market. Fills a niche where you get smart phone functionality on a simple flip phone. We tried a basic Nokia brick phone but its almost impossible to do life without some basic apps like WhatsApp or messenger. This phone allows for that. My 14 year old son researched and decided on this phone after coming to the conclusion that traditional smart phones are too distracting. He also loves the nostalgia feel of the keyboard....kids these days seem to love the 80s-90s tech lol. He installed the t11 keyboard app and uses the physical keys only for typing despite there being a touchscreen. Battery life is awesome, gets up to 3 days out of it. Can't best this unit for the price and functionality. It's been fun seeing my kid mesmerized by it....while I think it looks completely awkward and annoying. Most will want to stick with their traditional smartphone, but this unit definitely fills a niche and it does it well. Would be nice if they sold a charging dock for it to use the charging pins on the back.

I got this phone because Fizz is shutting down 3G on their network and I needed a voLTE compatible phone in order to continue to make and receive calls. I researched the Internet and found something called pixel ims that once installed, would activate voLTE on my new phone but no go. So I had to return this phone and get a Samsung S21 from Fizz. Not the phone I wanted, I wanted the S22 and honestly, it breaks my heart to have to return it. I am giving it a 4 star and not 5 only because of the compatibility issue and because CAT no longer produces phones, there is no support for it at all but I would have kept it if it worked on my carrier.

Got this for an elderly relative to replace their existing flip phone, as Rogers is shutting down their 3G network at the end of July. Despite this listing very clearly claiming Rogers 4G / VoLTE support, Rogers 4G / VoLTE *does not* work with this device, and as of July 31st EOD it will stop working on their network. What a gigantic waste of time switching the relative over to find out they're in no better position. But hopefully I can stop others from buying this item with a clearly wrong listing when it will be a paper-weight in the very near future.

This phone is fantastic, I've been using it for three weeks now after switching from my iPhone 12 Pro Max to help detox from social media. I love that is still runs android 11 with a small touch screen so I can download my essential apps like banking, music, and google calendar while still having flip phone functions such as the option for T9 texting and answering/ending calls with a flip. It is waterproof, sturdy, and drop proof so I don't have to worry when taking it on hikes or paddleboarding. The battery life lasts a couple days which is great. Call quality is also great with no complaints from friends or family. Also came unlocked so all I needed to do was put my sim card in and it worked! For the price, this is a great purchase that should last a long time.

This is a very good phone, the only problem is that you cannot use it on the 4G only network with voice and text messaging as you need VOLTE (Voice Over LTE) for that to work as it's not the same as 4G/LTE data, and they didn't put the VOLTE software in this phone because they relied on the 3g network for voice and text There is a way to install a hack on this phone, but it's quite involved as you have to root the phone first and even then, depending on the network operator you are using they might not have the phone on their white list, meaning that even if you can get VOLTE working, they might not allow it, I'm talking about you Rogers Which isn't a big deal breaker because Rogers has more competition then they did years ago now anyway You will also need a phone with the v29 or the v30 firmware and some of these S22's are sent with a newer updated firmware without T-Mobile that you can't use with the root howto I found online, or at least I haven't tried it and I'm assuming it won't work I know this because I purchased quite a few of these phones and had to return some of them as they did not have the firmware advertised, meaning the screen should have the yellow background advertised for it to have firmware v30 4 of the phone that I purchased had the V30 firmware and are advertised correctly So if you are planning on going the hacked route, be aware you may have to purchase more then one from more then one seller and return the ones that are not advertised correctly. That's of course if the firmware on the newer versions doesn't work, maybe it does but I didn't try it And as of right now I haven't had time to do the hack myself either, so I cannot comment on how successful it will be until I do Hope this helps!
