Fell apart the first time I used it (but a good idea)
These brushes are a great idea, and I really wanted them to work, but they fell apart the first time I used them. I have severe vertigo, so I drink all of my beverages in sippy cups; I use Munchkin 10oz sippy cups for regular drinks and Camelbak water bottles for my regular water bottle- if it saves me from having to mop up Coke off the couch, I am going to use baby cups lol. I searched around to find brushes to clean those bottles, which have bite-to-drink mouthpieces made of silicone that tend to collect whatever you drink and get nasty if they are not cleaned well (The Camelbak gets nasty when just water is left more than a day in it, and though the mouthpiece is removable it is a total pain in the ass to clean, but that is another review lol), and was even using pipe cleaners, until I found these brushes and thought they would be perfect, especially since they were made by the company for these types of cups. The first time I used them, however, the bristles fell off the brush, rendering them useless. First I thought maybe I just got one defective brush, but each one I tried dissolved as I pushed it through the straw or valve- and it is literally marked on the handle that it is for cleaning that part ( the green one says "straw", the blue says "valve", the pink says "spout"), so it's not like they were used wrong, but they just fell apart, leaving little brush bits all over the inside of the cup and straw, and leaving the brush as a naked metal stick....Total waste of money all around ( but the idea was good). I took a picture of the brushes missing the bristles so you can see what happens when you use them, and I also took a picture of the set that I bought to replace this set- the OXO brush set; it was four times the price, but it works great, and comes with a big brush to wash the inside of the bottles themselves, and the skinny brush can be bent in all sorts of directions to clean straws, valves, etc.

Handles fall off, wire bends
I have been hunting for the right straw cleaner for the Contigo AUTOSPOUT Straw Striker Kids Water Bottle, 14oz, Electric Blue . I have tried the Munchkin Cleaning Brush Set, 1 Set , the Lysol 57112 Straw & Bottle Brush, 4 Pack  and the Rubbermaid Tube Brush. Right off the bat, the rubbermaid tube brush is too big and does not work. The blue handled munchkin cleaner was a good fit in terms of diameter, but the brush bent too easily and the handle ended up falling off within a couple of weeks. Finally, the lysol product does the trick. It is wider than the munchkin blue handled wand, and is a snugger fit. It does take a little but of oomph to get the job done, but I think the straw is probably cleaner for it in the end.

Breaks EASILY! Poorly made :(
Unfortunately I have to give this a one star rating for multiple reasons. (Note that I would give it a zero stars if not for the fact I did receive what was pictured and on time)• They are super flimsy and do not hold up their shape - I feel like they can snap at any moment• One of them was broken and I'm positive that all of them will break after a few uses - the metal "string" they use goes into the little colored handle on the bottom, and there is obviously no strong glue or base that holds it together BECAUSE the metal came right out of the handle (super easily)• At the top of the brush - where the bristles are and the metal string ends - gets caught on the end of straws or opening if you push the brush all the way through, because the way the cleaning brush is made is that the manufacturer bent the metal tip so that it is a little loop...which means it will get caught easily. Other brands do not do this and will actually make the metal tip a coated bump for safety and ease of use.I will try to attach photos ..hopefully they upload so you can see what I'm talking about. I mean for the price of $2.99 I feel like I'm not surprised at all but it still sucks to buy something and have it be broken or just super crappy and weak/poorly made.

Got these to clean out reusable plastic straws, but they bend too easily
I got these to clean out reusable plastic straws. None are not long enough to go the full length of the straw, so I have to attack it from both ends, which doesn't bother me, but is something worth noting. The main thing is that the brushes are flimsy. If I put any pressure at all on the brush to, say, scrub something off one spot of the straw, the brush bends - and it tends to bend away from what I'm trying to scrub off! Since I use the straws for smoothies, there is plenty of opportunity for bits of fruit, protein powder, chia seeds, etc to get stuck on the inner side of the straw and I thought brushes like these would be the answer.Perhaps these were not the best things to get for that purpose I had in mind, but the flimsiness seems as though it would be a problem in general. For light brushing, these might be fine but for removing anything that is stuck on, I don't look for this set of brushes to hold up for long.

too short
I needed a drinking straw brush since my wife insists on putting green (read "lots of kale") smoothies through a straw. There is no way to get these clean without a brush. Since the sizes aren't listed, here they are: Spout brush: 2 3/4 inch long, slightly less than 1/2 inch wide. Valve brush: 5 1/4 inch long, slightly less than 3/8 inch wide. Straw brush: 5 1/4 inch long, slightly less than 1/4 inch wide. For a 10 inch straw, this brush reaches "just" to halfway. I guess it is "just" adequate. For a normal straw.Lately, some smoothie tumbler straws are being made in a 1/2 inch diameter. This allows the chunks to come up the straw. None of these brushes will work on such a straw.

Perfect product.
I use stainless steel straws at home and I made the big mistake of using it for a smoothie.. Well DAYS later after thinking I cleaned it very well, I got a surprise when I took a sip of my margarita cocktail. Rotten, old, slightly solidified berry smoothie. I swear, my life flashed before my eyes. Wretched!I use these cleaners for my straws now and thank goodness. I'm so stupid for not doing it sooner. EW.I'm scarred for life lol.
