The three-layer FUTURELIGHT™ outer material demonstrates the latest developments in breathable and waterproof protection with its nano membrane. The light fabric is stretchy, pleasantly soft and convinces with stunning wearing comfort. With its 550-cuin down filling from responsible production, the inner jacket is also impressive. Together, both jacket components form a bulwark against wind, rain, snow, cold and all other types of weather influences in the mountains. On milder days you simply pull over the FUTURELIGHT™ outer jacket. In the dry cold, the down-filled inner jacket will do you the best service. Our Mountain Light Triclimate consists of two jackets for three different weather conditions and makes no compromises when it comes to breathability. Great shell which is pliable and light as a rain jacket for any season with zip-in compatibility to tailor warmth to conditions.I have another North Face jacket which has their proprietary breathable fabric. I prefer gortex as it is softer, more pliable and slicker( In my case this means my Siberian Cats do not give me extra insulation with a fur donation requiring constant attention). I really like this jacket- enough to buy it when I already owned the other one.
