Basically a melodrip for half the cost. Definitely works and the first cup brewed with it was noticeable. Great way to control water flow over grinds.

Fun tool to get the perfect brew. Helps to finish your pour overs and end with a flat bed. Even distribution tool works great!

this device is well worth the price of 12 dollars. it improves the pour over brew IF you like a coffee which brings out more body, and deeper flavors, and mutes the bright notes. it fits the v60 for 1 or 2 cup size. the perforations in the device force an even dispersion of the water over the bed of coffee grinds. no need for a goose neck kettle if you don't have one.

Works great. It also has a hole where you can stick a chopstick or skewer to hold just the screen. Softens the flow to keep the bed less disturbed while pouring.

Very good quality. Fits v60 02, not 03. Ideal for flow control.

Almost exactly thr same as melodrip. And cheaper than the one I got from Orea (though that one had a base that fit my V4). Keeps your pour from disturbing the grinds bed and results in a cleaner cup.

This is basically a Melodrip, but instead of a handle to grip, it has a frame to sit on top of MOST* v60 and Melitta cones. * example: it fits poorly atop the Zojirushi Zutto cone, but can be made to work. When I say it is a Melodrip, I mean: although it does not have the handle, it has a place for the handle, which makes me think that either A) the factory that makes the Melodrip makes this; or B) someone 3D-scanned and replicated the functional part of the Melodrip. Either way, they needed it to be just different enough to not get sued. As far as I am concerned, this dripper is probably helpful if you don't have a gooseneck kettle or gooseneck pitcher, or just want something to help pour a little more consistently. My take: it has too fast a drip rate...but...YMMV. Lots of YouTubers have done reviews on the Melodrip, so if you trust one of them, or they better fit your confirmation bias, then that might be better guidance for you than my opinion.

Basically, stationary melodrip. Which makes it perfect for me. And much, much cheaper. Just like how much standard melodrip costs. I’ve used it several times and enjoyed the results I got. I also have Hario drip assist, and they create a bit different versions of coffee. This is ideal when I just want to have a cup or two, especially with a dripper like Cafec 27.

I used it with Kalita, not a V60 and it still worked great for me. Coffee grains remain still and water gets distributed evenly from top to bottom.
