Very small
This product should be effective in regards to a small burn, it is upon that basis which I have given it 3 stars. The quantity of product is incredibly small at 3.g and whilst it needs to be applied sparingly, it will not cover anything other than a small area, therefore, for a burn say through touching an oven door, fine, but for a small scald, I doubt if it will be sufficient.My fault for placing the order for such a small packet, however, might I suggest that you might wish to consider a larger packet: suggest 10g or be prepared to be able to give comfort to a very small area.I am not overly concerned as this pack is for our first aid kit and should a significant burn (say 5cm x 5cm or larger occur) after treating with cold water, I think the next stop might be A&E. Suffice to say, I am sure it is an effective product, will be suitable for a single treatment of a very small burn, but one will not be sufficient for my first aid kit and therefore I have to purchase more.

Better to be looking at it than looking for it
Good quality item - there should be half a dozen of them in every medical kit. When applied to burns it soothes the damaged area and prevents the skin from drying, cracking and splitting. It also forms a temporary barrier over the wound to help keep infection out.They work on most types of lower-level burns such as minor scalds, burns from matches, lifting hot plates, sun burns etc. If the inflammation and pain persists past a few hours, or if you have concerns about the size of the burn, seek medical advice. If the burn is severe you should always seek hospital treatment as soon as possible.

Good for out and about.
Good little product. I keep it in my First Aid Kit which goes everywhere with me. I would still use cold running water if I can but in some cases, out walking for example, that is not an option and these little packs are the next best thing I have so far found.

Not had occasion to use this yet but it arrived on time and the sachets fit neatly into the first aid kit (see review) Judging by the reviews on here it seems to be a good product so will just have to wait until i burn myself to try it out!

I did put my finger under water first and would recommend anyone do the same but this stuff is great ...
Had to use it the other day to ease a cooking burn i put the get on and it stopped hurting. I did put my finger under water first and would recommend anyone do the same but this stuff is great for removing the pain after and i'm convinced it even healed faster.in short an extra addon to small burn first aid which works perfectly

I am pleased with my burns gel I have added it to my first aid kit ,I'm afraid I can't say if it works or not , but good to have

First aid burn gel
It arrived when expected and I needed to use it quicker than I thought I burned my fingers and used the gel yes it dd do the job just. Little messy(runny) Good thing to have In the first aid box home or away.

Once you have used one of these you'll understand why they are a must in your first aid collection. I had received a small steam burn to my finger and although I followed all of the advice on running under a tap, the pain remained once the air got to it.I tried one of these and the pain was gone.
