My son wanted to play with the Xbox on his monitor in his room, but alas no sound output from said monitor. With this gizmo, he was able to route optical audio through Bluetooth to his headphones. Now we can watch our tv and he can play Xbox in another room. Great! Changed the following settings in system settings to enable the device: display discovery to Off and resolution to 1080p. Also changed audio > Digital audio > Digital stereo. Worked like a charm! Sound is responsive and transmitter was easy to connect and operate. Review: Does the trick, connecting my earbuds to the TV - After a few weeks of use, my experience is that I would highly recommend it. The sound quality, range and volume are great especially for the price. It took a little while to get it paired to my earbuds as the directions were not clear enough. The best way to pair with the earbuds is to watch for searching when you turn on the device and then open your earbuds case for pairing. Once the Bluetooth device recognizes your earbuds push the big knob on the right and this will lock in your earbuds pairing. When you go to use your Bluetooth device in the future just turn it on and while the screen shows connecting open your earbuds case and remove an earbud. I have no problems after I got the hang of it. The only problem I have is when I used the TV USB connector for power, the Vizio smart TV I have would turn the device back on after I had it turned it off. My TV LED would light back up about a minute after the TV was turned off and it would turn the device back on. I would have to watch for this and turn it back off. I decided to plug the Bluetooth device into a 5W transformer block and connect it to a power strip which stopped it from coming back on. The TV senses the connection and turns the power on and the device doesn’t know to stay off. The only other thing to mention is that if you use only one earbud you have to use the Bluetooth device knob to turn up or down the volume. When you use both earbuds you can control the volume with the earbud sensors. ## Features - 【Dual Connection & Automatic Reconnection】This Bluetooth transmitter adapter has a "dual connection" function, which can connect two Bluetooth headsets/speakers at the same time. Enjoy a movie with your partner without disturbing others. Whether you want to make dinner or do chores around the house, you never have to worry about audio loss. - 【Convenient Design and Easy Operation】Clearly visible LCD status indicator on the TV Bluetooth transmitter, you can see and understand what is going on. Built-in volume controls are available for devices that don't have built-in volume controls, such as AirPods. - 【Wide Compatibility】The Bluetooth splitter supports Optical, AUX, RCA Audio outputs/inputs. It will send or receive bluetooth audio. If you are sending, it will pair with two sets of headphones at once, which is nice. I am using this device to adapt a very nice stereo receiver to connect my bluetooth headphones. I would give this bluetooth tx/rx five stars except that it is unreliable when pairing. I paired it once and that was fine. Now, subsequently, EVERY time I turn on my stereo and my headphones, sometimes it will pair, but I won't get any audio in the headphones. Sometimes (a minority of the times) I turn it on and it pairs and I can hear audio right away. I think that in 2026 we should be a little better than this. The Soomfon bluetooth tx/rx has a nice little display panel. It displays the mode it is in (either TX or RX - which is Transmit to your headphones or speakers, OR Receive audio via bluetooth. I didn't know that until I got this. ) It tells you in TX mode which is the source of input you send to your headphones. There is a lighted large blue knob on front which when you turn it will turn up the volume from 0 to 16. If you push on the volume knob it will search and connect again (which is what I have to do when it doesn't fully work - it connects and shows the name of the headphones in the display but I cannot hear anything. This is an annoyance but if you can accept an extra button push to get it to connect again, it will then work very well.) The capability to send a strong signal further than my other bluetooth gadgets is nice. This claims to broadcast from 10m to 30m, which is around thirty-some feet up to almost 100 feet - which is great for bluetooth. If you're indoors and you are going from one room to another, then your mileage may vary but this thing does broadcast a nice strong signal! One thing to keep in mind: this bluetooth adapter has to be plugged into a charger - it will not work on battery only. I have another bluetooth TX gadget I use with my iPod Classic to play music while I'm working outdoors which has a decent battery life0 no projecting antennae. This Soomfon bluetooth TX/RX adapter is for plugged in stationary use. All that said, I totally recommend it for uses similar to mine. I would buy it again. ## Frequently Bought Together - SOOMFON Bluetooth Transmitter for TV 3-in-1 Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver for TV to 2 Headphones with LCD Display Adjustable Volume, Optical AUX RCA Bypass for Home Stereo Speaker - TOSLINK – Optical Audio Cable – 20ft – Designed in Germany – Fiber Optic Cable for Soundbar, SPDIF Digital Optical Audio Cord – for Sound Bars, Stereo Systems, amps, Xbox One or PS4 – by CableDirect - Warrky Optical Audio Cable, 6ft / 1.8m Optical Cable for Soundbar [Nylon Braided, Slim Metal Case, Gold-Plated Plug], Fiber Optic Audio Cord Compatible with Samsung, Vizio, LG, Bose, Sony, Sonos --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/673189826-bluetooth-5-3-transmitter-receiver-for-tv-to-2-headphones](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/673189826-bluetooth-5-3-transmitter-receiver-for-tv-to-2-headphones) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
