My VIZIO smart tv doesn't have Bluetooth built into it, so i got this crazy idea to figure out how to get bluetooth, so I came across this nifty invention, and since it wasn't purchased, bought, or found from Best Buy (the Masters of Technology, I'm sorry not sorry haha) I was worried that this was a fake trap and wouldn't work. Needless to say, when the shipment arrived in fast timing and arrival, I was wrong and I was so happy. I live the latency, connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, works well, easy to use/ease of use, the volume control knobs and features, touch screen, just the whole cute adorable thing, qnd I'm do happy now, because my VIZIO tv now have Bluetooth when I turn this on, and I can connect to my Skullcandy Hesh EVO, Bluetooth headphones. My Optimum tv Google box, my streaming apps (Netflix, and etc) all have Bluetooth through my headphones pairing to this cool invention. My only complaint is that I have to mute the tv so that it doesn't echoes through both tv and my headphones, but that's ok, I don't mind. I'm just happy that I have Bluetooth working now, because my tv doesn't have it built-in. And my next complaint I that when my DVD player is on playing a DVD, the headphones only plays in one speaker of my headphones only. But, that's ok too.

It works well and easy to use. I like the product but I wish I had chosen a product with a remote. You must pair your headphones every time you use them by pressing the connect button on the box. It has no memory or anuto pairing and that gets annoying. I use it in my bedroom at night and to turn the box off you must physically get out of bed and turn it off, not that I'm that lazy but I really wish It had a remote.

I want to connect my TV to bluetooth so I can listen to the TV while my wife is asleep. Normal sound is an optical connection to a soundbar. I was looking for something that would allow bluetooth headphones as well as an optical passthrough. This fits the bill and has done a great job. The device allows three modes: Passthrough, bluetooth transmitter, and bluetooth receiver. I've used the passthrough and transmitter modes. It works great and is simple to set up. Very good value, especially for the price.

Output from old Onkyo cassette deck via RCA jacks to Aux. input on Soomfor transmitter. Bluetooth to ear buds was no problem at all; Bluetooth to Samsung soundbar took awhile to connect, the transmitter would find Soundbar with no problem but connection took quite awhile to connect with numerous attempts. Nice little bluetooth transmitter...A few days later...Soundbar connection made twice but takes too long; so, I tried the optical output from transmitter to my soundbar optical input (still using aux. input on transmitter) and it works very well in bypass mode.

Once you can see the instructions (very small print, light grey on white) (old people) and understand what they mean, this thing works like a charm! It works well with BT headsets and not at all with BT hearing aids. It is well worth the attractive price. It COULD use a little more volume reserve but with the TV and headset volumes all the way up it is entirely better than any speakers. The TV could be the limiting factor with RCA connectors.
