Perfect for above-ground manifold -- easy to install for a beginner
I asked an irrigation company to build a six-valve manifold -- estimate was $2,000. So I decided to build myself. And with this manifold, it is practically built. I used six valves but you can extend it even further. Because everything screws together, it was easy to assemble. I used plumber's tape on the threads just to ensure they didn't leak. PRO TIP: Make sure your setup satisfies code compliance. The valves need to be a certain height from the irrigation line and you must ensure no contaminated water flows back into the source. I installed a UPCยฎ Certified 1" Brass Pressure Vacuum Breaker to the manifold which is also compliant with the ASSE 1020-2020 standard. The benefit of using a separate pressure vacuum (as opposed to using valves that have them built in) is that is can be tested and certified that is is working. I used threaded 1" PVC couplings to attach to the manifold so I can remove if I have to. This is an easy weekend job -- even with multiple trips to the hardware store to get PVC fittings. And I saved $2,000.

Easy but not fully functional
So far so good, everything was hooked up and wired correctly but one of the solenoids was bad, everythingโs already hooked up, so Iโm just gonna buy another one, but upon first use with the Ranchio 3 controller everything is working as expected.

Great product
I was nervous about the unit leaking, or faulty/sticky valves as some suggest in the review. So I followed one reviewing individual's suggestion to apply teflon tape on all the threads (except the threads on the selenids...) and apply lubricant on all the o rings, and have had no issues with it leaking. In fact, it fitted perfectly, and works like a charm! If I have any issues, I will update.

Easy to add a 4 station battery timer to if unable to run power.
Easy to install, Nice fit up. Easy to replace valves if required or add an extension to that will allow more valve stations to be added.

Welll..it does say, "Patent Pending"
Because of root damage from my one of my neighbors' trees, I had to replace my sprinkler lines. I have always used a competitor brand for my sprinkler valves, but when I came across this manifold system, it looked exactly what I had envisioned doing with a series of valves. I didn't want them in the ground because...wellll ok, I am old and I have sciatica, and I didn't want to bend down any more than I have to, so I wall mounted. I would have had to purchase and install 5 new valves anyway, so I ordered this product, and also Orbit 57250 2-Valve Heavy Duty Preassembled Manifold to add to this one, so I would have 5. The simplicity of the removal of an occasional bad valve, would be much more simplified. Uttt ohhhhh....maybe it was just a bit TOO simplified?? I followed the manufacturer's instructions to a Tee. I did hand-tighten all of the fittings, per instructions, and to the credit of the manufacturer, I had no leaks on the hand tightening. My water pressure is no where near the 80psi that they say to avoid. Soooo.. I am attaching a few photos here, that show leaks...but not where you hand tighten. If you zoom in, you will see a couple of the valve bodies leaking, but in all honesty, all 5 do. The ones not showing as well in the photos, are on the back side. These are from the manufactured body, and there was no way I was going to try tightening those using my Channel Locks, or anything else, and then have the manufacturer tell me that I violated the product warranty. So, for now, I am not returning them. Why not? Because I have no guarantee that the next 5 will be any different than these 5 were, and it is just another job this old man doesn't need to keep playing with. If the leaks worsen before my return deadline, then I may return. But of course, I will go back to the previous manufacturer, and have to try to adapt what they have, to my installation. Just more work than I wanted to put into this project. Bottom line?? I won't be using this manufacturer's products again. And the circle keeps going round and round. LOL... UPDATE... The leaks must have been the valves seating themselves, because only a couple of weeks passed, and no more leaks. So, they are great.

Valves leaked after one day and could not be closed
On Day 1 everything was working fine. Zero leaks and the one zone that was connected worked fine. On Day 2 it was leaking water straight past 3 of the 4 valves and neither the manual shut offs nor the orbit zone controller could shut the valves and stop the water flowing past the 3 valves. Buy better valves and make your own manifold.

not all parts delivered
Product is very good. 3 star rating given as i bought 3 packs of 4 valves, 2 packs were each packed in boxes with all parts, 3rd pack came in plastic bag inside a much box with several parts missing, not major, such as pack of 4 electrical connectors, instructions etc , but annoying.
