I was very surprised by the quality of this BOYA microphone; it is compact and very easy to use. The connection is quick, and I had no trouble setting it up. The sound is clear and sounds quite professional, even in spaces with some background noise. Plus, the case is handy for storing and transporting it without risk of damage. It is definitely a great option if you are just starting to create content or want to improve your audio without spending too much.

These work great, charge quickly, and make a huge quality difference.

These microphones are awesome. I used them for videos that shoot on my iPhone. I have an iPhone 15 so I have the USB-C version. They also have a lightening cable version available as well. The microphones are easy to use. They automatically connect to the receiver. They have a very long battery life and the audio that the video had was crystal clear. The microphones have a decent range. I would probably never get anywhere close to the maximum range of the mics. The clips on the microphones are very tight and are very secure on the wearer. The microphones are charged in a case like Airpods. The case also holds the receiver so they are stored as a set. The microphones and receiver are well constructed and seems pretty durable. They have already survived a few drops. This is a nice first entry into the world of external phone microphones for me. It will be hard for me to find much better.

Update to 4 stars 10/31/2025: I reached out to support and they walked me through fixing the issue. I hadn't been able to find the solution myself, and their re-pairing steps worked perfectly! I'm so thankful because I love these little mics. Still 4 stars because why are they unpairing to begin with and why isn't this in the little manual. Pro: great sound for a teeny tiny mic. Almost invisible aesthetic. Super easy pairing, super simple to operate. Con: one of the mics stopped connecting to the receiver today - three days after my return window closed WHILE I'm a trip specifically to record interviews, and now I only have one working mic. This is a remote location with no where to buy a replacement in time - I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed. Not cool.

I bought these back in Nov 2025. I only use these mics while on trips. So around 3 or 4 times a year. They've worked great up until our last trip in Italy we just got back from. Looking back at the videos from my S23 ultra (also tried on my Flip 5 and wife's S23 ultra, and same thing), I noticed a "beep" that happens from time to time. Also, on the videos that end up having the "beep" on them, the voices get out of sync throughout the video. When everything works normally, everything is great. Out of all the videos I took using the mics, I'd say about 30% had the "beep". But at this point why would I want to use these mics when there's a chance of the "beep" happening now? It's just not worth the chance to possibly have a messed up video. I've attached a small clip of me testing it out on the plane after noticing it. At around the 11sec mark you'll hear it. I just can't recommend these at this point anymore.

This mic set works great. Crystal clear audio even in windy conditions.

I got this mic for NOT vlogging or mostly phone. I got this to dictate speech on my laptop, macbook pro, while I am walking in the room, or doing other things. I could use headsets or similar things, but I do not want anything in my ears, so decided to use a dedicated mic for this purpose. I was not sure if it works with dictation apps on phone, since I do not see any review for laptop use case, all were for vlog with phone. I use also dictate speech over my phone, and it works great. I synced both mic, but generally I use only one with USB receiver. I can not comment on battery life, since I couldn't reach its limit. Another big plus is its charging and carrying case. it is so small, you can carry it in your pocket or simple carry on bag without an issue.

Microphone recording quality is very good. The product doesnt looks cheap. Very good 100% recommended. The price is great as well. Been using for a while, and the quality is good for normal recording.

Apesar dessa diferença, não considero isso um motivo para devolução, mas acho válido ressaltar. Utilizo o microfone em conjunto com um Galaxy S23 Ultra e um gimbal Hohem iSteady V3, e a combinação do peso leve e do design compacto permite gravações de alta qualidade em qualquer lugar.
