I’ve used standard Triangle chalk for years and switched to this mainly to see what the fuss was about. I’m not at a level where I can honestly say it’s reduced kicks for me, but I do maintain the snooker tables at our club and there’s definitely less visible residue left on the cloth compared to traditional chalk. That alone makes a difference over time. It goes on smoothly and stays on the tip well enough without constant reapplication. It doesn’t crumble or leave heavy deposits around the cue ball area. It IS expensive compared to basic chalk, but a block lasts a long time, so it’s not something you’re replacing every few weeks. If you play regularly and care about keeping the cloth in decent condition, it’s a noticeable step up from standard block chalk and if you're better than me, you might notice the kick factor too. There's a reason that pretty much every player on the tour uses this stuff.

Very good chalk, works very well, leaves no marks on the cloth and looks like it will last a while, but it’s let down because of its high price.

I’ve used plenty of different chalks over the years, but the Taom V10 has genuinely impressed me. The first thing I noticed was that I didn’t need to chalk my cue nearly as often, which helps keep my focus on the game. More importantly, though, I experienced noticeably less cue slip, giving me much more confidence with every shot. The extra grip and control are immediately apparent, especially on delicate positional shots and when applying spin. As an added bonus, it also keeps the table and balls much cleaner than traditional chalks. It’s more expensive than standard chalk, but in my opinion it’s well worth the investment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve consistency and cue control
