The dumbbell set came as advertised. The base was easy to put together and the powder coating looks good. I spent a little extra to get the upgraded comfort grip and they really look sharp. The whole set looks great and the hex rubber appears to be quality.

Easy to assemble, priced according for the quality of materials it’s made out of, no missing parts, durability is good, the spacing for the hand clearance is a tad bit narrow but it works for a home gym standpoint. Overall a great buy for the price, comfort of having this, the appearance and the grip it provides for the stability of the stand is a great steal for the price.

If you need a dumbbell set in this weight range, this is just the ticket. I assembled the rack alone, but it would help to have a second pair of hands. It comes with a large hex key (Allen wrench) for the screws, but you'll need a wrench or, preferably a socket wrench for the nuts. The socket would be more useful because instead of tightening with the hex key, I was able to tighten by wrenching the nuts which are on the inside of the frame. As for the dumbbells, they are great. There was a slight rubber smell when they came out of the boxes, but it went away in a day or two. They're comfortable in the hands, fit on the rack dandy, and the rubber coating protects everything from dings that metal bells would leave.

Great deal so we purchase it despise the reviews on odor. I opened the weights outside and definitely smelt straight rubber but I just feel like that’s what’s going to happen with any rubber weights! Took a bowl of water, vinegar, and dawn. I washed them and left them outside overnight. Totally fine. The room does not reek of rubber smell. My only complaint is I’m going to need to purchase different bolts because the pieces do not fit within each other for the rack.
