Q: Does this work with the leapstart, not the 3d version?

Am not sure am very sorry I can't Answer very well my Daughter has the 3d pad and it works well for her one.I know you have go onto the leapfrog store and download the books from the wedsite onto the leap pad not sure if it same for normal pad only just got her it this xmas just gone and still tryin to work out how it all works. Am unsure if it would work or not as the 3d Pads has a bit where pics and things go onto the little screen.

Great book for 3+

The leap frog learning system is a great compact, educational toy. I would highly recommend this book but I would of said it was more suitable for 3-5.I find all the books are a little over optomistic for the age intended and this can be a little off putting for the child.Preschool 1 is more for pre.school age (3-5) and preschool 2 is more for reception age. (4-6)
