This doorbell camera exceeded our expectations. The video quality is sharp, audio is clear for two-way communication, and notifications arrive quickly and reliably. The app is easy to use, making setup and daily use simple. One of our favourite features is the package detection. It not only alerts us specifically when a delivery arrives but also when the package is picked up. Right now that’s just us retrieving it, but it’s reassuring to know it would also notify us if someone else tried to take it. We followed the directions to connect the unit to our home’s hard wiring, hoping it would ring inside as well as the app. While our indoor chime rang when tested with the bare wires, it stopped once connected to the eufy (still need to troubleshoot this). The upside is that the hard wire eliminates the need to recharge the battery. EDIT TO ADD: the indoor chime needs to be turned on in settings! Works now! Another big plus is that we’re using the free version of the app and haven’t felt the need for a paid subscription at all. For quality, features, and value without monthly fees, this doorbell is an excellent choice.

When I first bought this, it was quite a hassle to get this to connect to my wifi as it is only 2.4 Ghz, so even when I set up a wifi signal, there were issues with connection. After I got it to connect, it connects automatically now. The only concern that i have is that the batteries sometimes die pretty quickly, and it takes some time to load videos on the phone from local storage. The detection is good, especially with packages, but with people its too good. I live in an apartment complex and my neighbors would walk by and I would always get a notification, too often sometimes, Im sure theres a better way to configure it. I connected it to my smart home and I get notified on my speakers when someone is home, and I can pull up the video feed if i needed to. picture quality is great, as well as the viewing angles, I love how there is a camera specifically for detecting when packages or left or taken, which is amazing

No subscription needed, no home-base needed, just plug and play. Very reliable product, easy to connect and use, notifications are very timely and crystal clear. I used commercial grade velcro to mount it exactly where I wanted without damaging the door. Easy to pull off and swap the battery. Getting my Amazon Echo to work as the doorbell was a little tricky and not intuitive as I wanted to just have a doorbell sound without the words "somebody is at the door". You can do it, you just need to Google around how to change a few settings.
