RMR-86 PRO has a stronger formula built for demanding professional and restoration jobs and may provide a longer shelf life under proper storage conditions. **Q: Does RMR-86 PRO kill mold?** A: No. RMR-86 PRO removes stains caused by mold and mildew; it does not kill mold. It is Step 1 of RMR's 2-step process. RMR recommends following with RMR-141 (not included) to disinfect spores according to label directions. **Q: Do I need to scrub or sand?** A: No scrubbing is required for typical stains, though stubborn areas may need light scrubbing or reapplication. RMR-86 PRO works in seconds, helping reduce sanding, scraping, wire brushing, and manual labor. **Q: Will RMR-86 PRO keep mold stains from coming back?** A: RMR-86 PRO removes existing mold and mildew stains but does not correct the underlying moisture conditions that cause mold growth. Address leaks, humidity, ventilation, or other underlying moisture sources as part of proper remediation. **Q: How should I apply RMR-86 PRO?** A: Wear appropriate PPE, shake before use, and apply directly to the affected surface using a bleach-rated sprayer. Allow the formula to work as stains disappear. Do not fog RMR-86 PRO and always follow product label directions. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mold has not come back. *by R***Y on 16 October 2026* We just re-did our master bathroom and we noticed the new tile around the bottom of the shower had started to discolor slightly. Just order it! *by L***R on 15 October 2026* Don’t wait to order this! I’m so mad I wasted time deciding if this would work or not! It’s literally magic! I used it on wallpaper that I thought would have to be replaced and it looks brand new! Very strong smell but it goes away quickly. I was very careful with how I sprayed this and only sprayed directly onto a cloth and wore gloves to avoid skin irritation. One swipe of the cloth and the mildew disappeared! No discoloration of the wallpaper or wood trim. It’s literally a miracle! ## Frequently Bought Together - RMR-86 Instant Mold and Mildew Stain Remover Spray - Scrub Free Formula, 2 Pack - 32 oz - Concrobium 25326CAL Mold Control Spray, 32 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/679655355-rmr-86-instant-mold-and-mildew-stain-remover-spray-scrub](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/679655355-rmr-86-instant-mold-and-mildew-stain-remover-spray-scrub) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
