Fantastic beef mince....the best I have got from any butcher in London, with no gritle
This is a clear 5* mince in terms of quality and taste. This mince is far superior to anything available from the supermarkets as well as most butchers. This is one of the only sources of beef mince that I have found in the country that has zero gristle. This mince which works well in many recipes including chili, tacos, bolognese, etc. It is not great for burgers as there is not enough fat to create a really juicy burger or kebab unless you want lower fat burger. I have ordered it well over a hundred times and it has been consistently good and is definitely not fatty. My only potential gripe is that occasionally it is very short dated which is frankly not ok. Otherwise this is fantastic mince from one of the top butchers in London. I would ignore the negative comments about fatty mince, which in my experiece of literally hundreds of packets of mince seems to be nonsense.

Absolute game changer
For a while I've longed to make a Five Guys style smash patty. The hangup has always been that finding good quality mince meat to make homemade patties is very difficult. I had begun to accept that to make patties as high quality as I wanted, I would have to get a meat grinder and make the mince from prime cuts myself. Enter this prime cut beef mince by Lidgate. I've scoured supermarkets, tried all the minces from bottom shelf to top shelf, from the Waitrose and the M&S and the Sainsbury's, and none have ever come close to this. This is honest prime cut mince meat. No messing about, no funny business. Expect mince that smells like meat (not that tacky mince meat smell of the supermarket mince meat variety), feels like meat, and tastes like meat, all while retaining that mincey quality that we love mince meat for. It's a beautiful product and I don't think I can go back to the same old supermarket mince meat. This would elevate any beef mince based dish I can think of. It would be grand in a spag bol. Can't recommend enough!

Tastes good, but almost definitely not 10% fat
This seems to be quality beef and it tastes good, better than most others I've bought, but I'm almost certain the fat content is way higher than 10%, probably 20% at least. I bought this before and don't remember this being the case, maybe I got a bad batch in my most recent purchase?

High Quality
Really high quality beef. I could really taste the difference! This makes me question all the other cheap beef on the market. I'll be buying this again for sure!
