I bought this to use on my black Escalade I wash my truck and sports car 1 time each and then washed the truck a second time with this system a week later and the meter read 9.2 when I started but I forgot to check it while washing and it went to 92 which I didn’t notice till I was done didn’t think that only after 2 uses that it would read over what’s recommended let alone 92. We have well water with a chlorinator, which means our system, uses bleach with a filter. So very similar to city water after washing my truck next day I go in the garage and I realize there are these horrible white spots that even with an exterior detail spray will not wipe off. Unfortunately, I had to pay a detail company, the buff and polish my truck, because the system failed only after two uses.

I bought this filter to rinse dust off my boat in between washes and now it's completely covered in water spots. The boat was detailed a few weeks prior to this rinse and it's kept in a covered slip. I contacted the company through their site but they never replied but they might after reading this review. Worthless product and even worse service.

I have been looking into CR Spotless for a while. I live in Texas, and we have very hard water. DIW-10 is awesome if you don't want something bulky in your garage (I used it next to my pressure washer for a while until I could mount it properly, it's heavy enough to stay up). What I would recommend is using a 1.2 GPM pressure washer connected to it, and the filter will last a long time. You can use online calculators on their website to figure out how much. I would also say, don't listen to comments that your car can dry in the sun with this - it can, but the pre-wash and soap scum will also dry very fast. You only want to use it for rinsing after you're all done. I have a Tesla Model 3 with ceramic coating, and after rinsing with this all I need to do is wait for the car to dry out - no more water spots.
