As a veteran IKEA assembler, I'm used to instructions that leave you scratching your head. The person who wrote the build instructions for this bench is good, but could have been amazing with just a few tweaks.The pros- can be assembled...- is sturdy - I'm 6'2", 280 lbs, and I feel comfortable doing my routine on this bench- can be stored flat (lots of instructions on this). I'm not sure I care for this, but you can fold it relatively flat.- the bolts/nuts/etc. come in multiple bags and the bags are numbered to reflect the assembly numbering (e.g. bag one goes with step 1)- some of the parts are zip tied with the other parts that get attached/assembled with itCould be better with just a few tweaks- less info on how to fold it, more info on how much torque to put on the bolts (e.g. there is a bolt and a removable pin on many of the connections to allow for folding. How tight should the bolt be?)- since there is time to put a tag on the bolt bag that reflects the assembly step, why not add a number on the parts (e.g. step 1 part)- there is lots of info that needs to be communicated in the install manual - splurge and make the manual book 50% bigger - it was hard to read the numbers telling you which parts to us.Overall, this looks and feels sturdy. I look forward to using it more.

this machine might good for 5 feet or less height because of the following:1- length of bench is short.2- two barbell support/holder don’t latched properly which is risky falling weights on you. you can see in the attached picture where i tied up with red bands.3- the two barbell support on side pillars stay right where we use our hand to lift up.

The Adjustable and Foldable Workout Bench by Oppsdecor is a very nice workout bench, once assembled. However, assembly is a beast. It was challenging putting this bench together on my own, perhaps if someone has assistance it would make it easier but putting it together solo was a bear. There were a couple of connecting points in assembly that were challenging to put together on my own. Also, the bags of hardware were numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.. but the instructions referred to the hardware with numbers 15, 16, 17, etc.. so the instructions and the hardware didn’t match so through process of elimination I guessed what hardware was needed at different points of assembly.The workout bench itself is solid and sturdy. Well-constructed with good quality materials. The frame is heavy-duty steel with a weight capacity of 660 lbs. It’s great for a small home gym as it folds up and can easily be stored in a closet or even under a bed. The bench is versatile; there are many workouts that can be done using this workout bench.
