This is one of DC’s best stories. It can be slow at times but it’s so worth it. I love the ending and it introduced me to Martian Manhunter who I grew very fond of because of this comic.

Small format can cause problems
The small format, plus the colouring of some of the captions and word balloons made it difficult to read in some parts.

Bought for my daugther,she was happy to receive it.

Really excellent story and art at a very good price. It's too bad they shrunk it down, but at these prices you really can't complain. Sometimes the text boxes are a bit hard to read because of the smaller print, but that's to be expected. Cooke loved this book and it shows. He's a master of the medium and puts 90% of the current comic writers and artists too shame.
