First time mom dealing with postpartum hair loss and I swear by this . I use this every night along with taking a multivitamin ! Non greasy , has a little bit of a smell but not strong at all . I usually put it in a mini spray bottle for easier application and I feel like it doesn’t waste as fast , consistency is key ! Fit it into your routine and you’ll see results 🫶🏼 this is my 4th time purchasing it I highly recommend for anyone struggling with hair loss

I am totally blown away by this serum. I bought it because my barber pointed out 2 areas where my hair was thinning. I began using it on my entire scalp. Apart from the thinning areas I have bald spots. One at my ear and another much larger one at the back caused by stress pulling which started 52 years ago. It's difficult to see progress where the hair is thinning but very easy to see the growing fuzz now clearly present in the once bald spots. I am nearly half way through the 2nd bottle and I have no intention of stopping. This product is worth every penny.

I'm on a GLP-1 for weightloss and realized at the end of last year that my hair was definitely thinning (I spent months going back and forth: "I think it's thinning; maybe not; maybe? I'm not sure; yes, DEFINITELY thinner!"), so started researching how to fix it, and decided oral minoxidil was the way to go (I have cats, not risking their health with topical). I made an appointment with my doctor for the script (of course, had to wait a few months to get in), doc ran some tests, everything came back normal, then she said she didn't want to give me oral minoxidil because I'm of childbearing age with no children. So I had to go with plan B. That's where The Ordinary's hair serum comes in. And I am so glad I found it! This serum has fixed my hair loss! I have SO MANY BABY HAIRS!!! I started using it in April (bought during their anniversary sale), and now, in September, my hair is filling back in again. I did not see "instant" results, it actually caused a shed that I almost didn't make it through. The Ordinary's website says you may experience a slight shed; that's a lie, I experienced more than a "slight" shed! And my shed lasted longer than their website says it lasts. But I pushed through, kept using the product, and I'm so glad I did. My hair started shedding within a couple weeks of starting, and lasted for about a month (I had full on breakdowns in the bathroom a couple times, seeing how much thinner my hair was getting). A couple of months into use, I started seeing, what I thought, were seeds of new growth ("Is that new growth? Am I imagining that? Is that just hopeful-seeing new growth?") By the end of July, a solid three months into use, it was undeniable, I definitely had baby hairs! And my hairdresser had even commented that I was losing a lot less hair when she washed it. Now, in September, five months into use, my baby hairs range in length from one inch to four inches. I use more than a couple of drops of product, and I use it about five to six nights a week. A bottle lasts me about 6 weeks. The serum is thin and watery, and easy to apply. I have not had any irritation with it, and it doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy. But I wouldn't say it's unnoticeable in the hair, either. I can definitely feel that there is product in my hair after I've applied the serum (and it actually gives my roots a much-needed boost). I'm on my fourth bottle now, and plan to continue to use this product for the foreseeable future (just waiting for the next sale to buy in bulk). As is, this is an excellent value for the money. I know there are other products, with the same ingredients, charging four to five times what this one costs. I'm so glad I found this one before wasting my money on those others!

A little annoyed as I thought this would be a lot more water based. It definitely has some oil to it and feel like I would need to wash my hair daily. Update: it’s not so much that it’s oily, but it does make your hair feels a little heavy after you put it on. I’ve been applying it at night, then in the morning I brush my hair. I don’t know that my hair is oily or greasy but it’s more of a heavy feeling as if you put too much product on your hair. But the instructions do say to use a few drops, but I don’t have that kind of patience so I use the dropper and just drag it along different parts of my scalp and inserting the product as it glides down. So I’m likely applying too much product. Overall, it’s not as bad as I thought, and I’ll take this over some of the more oily products out there. I’ll provide an update in a few months.

This has been a 10/10 for me. I really like the texture—it absorbs well and doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down, which makes it very easy to incorporate into my routine. I’ve been consistent with it and have been very happy with my experience and the results over time. Definitely a product I would continue using.

The photo attached shows my two-month results, achieved using this serum alongside other hair-growth products, including minoxidil. While this peptide serum won’t deliver dramatic results on its own, I truly believe it plays an important supporting role in a hair growth routine. The science behind the ingredients is solid. Peptides act as cellular messengers, encouraging scalp cells to repair, regenerate, and remain in the active growth phase longer. Copper peptides, in particular, help stimulate hair follicles, promote scalp health, and can even increase follicle size, often resulting in thicker strands and improved density. This serum also includes botanical complexes such as Redensyl, which support scalp circulation and help extend the growth phase. There are many other beneficial ingredients I won’t dive into here, or this review would get far too long but the bottom line is this serum is supportive, not miraculous. Results are gradual, but absolutely worthwhile with patience and consistency. I apply it about 30 minutes after using minoxidil each day, and I’ve found that routine works well for me. If you’re on a hair-growth journey, this is a great product to incorporate into your regimen.

I’ve been using this serum for about a month, applying it twice a week, and I’m genuinely happy with the results so far. My hair looks a little fuller and healthier, and I’ve noticed some improvement in areas that seemed thinner before. The serum is lightweight, easy to apply, and doesn’t leave my scalp feeling greasy.
