Gets the Job done ✔️
It’s been a few months and this is the only thing I’ve found to be effective. I just put it down today and I have seen dead bugs in places I’ve poured it. I’m very excited about this and ready to use in other spots. My family said to use this and I’m glad I finally did. I don’t smell anything like a lot of people have been saying but to each their own. Buy this please it does work.

100% effective on fire ants
There are two Orthene products with different labeling, Both are 100% effective on fire ant mounds. The Fire Ant uses the chemical trade named asaphate which you can buy by the pound, the Ant and Roach uses a nameless organic compound and is significantly less expensive and easier to dispense being a fine non-clumping powder with a built in shaker cap. The Fire Ant works fast. The Ant and Roach takes longer. Whichever, don’t touch the mounds even though it's satisfying to scratch them open and see thousands of ants swarm, the workers isolate the queen in an emergency. You get the queen, you get the colony.

It really works
Effectiveness and killing older is OK. The sent is OK. It does kill roaches real quick.

Takes a few days to work or show results
I have an issue with tiny ants getting into my house and walking all over my sink. (It's near the rear door of my home). I put some of this in each corner of the door, and also put some over the thin edge of the sink. Took a few days to work, and so far, no more ants are seen.....will update this as time progresses....

Works wonders
If I could give this product a 10, I sure would. Moved into an apartment with German roaches, I stumbled on a review on TikTok and decided to give it a try after many unsuccessful attempts by the pest control company assigned by the apartment. In less than a week, ALL dead, and no sight of any in more than 6-7 months now. I even recommended it to the apartment manager.

Works very good on outdoor ants
I used outdoor. It’s like baby powder so don’t use it when it’s windy follow directions. It works really well on ants.

Loses effectiveness
It loses effectiveness after about 4 days. So it's better than other stuff out there. It does smell strong for us tho.

Very effective for the value
I believed it worked. We live in Texas and when things started coming out i bought this and they turn out dead before getting inside. We leave our back open alot and garage and they come in and for the most part they die at the entrance. The odor is strong and horrible so 1 star less because of that but effectiveness and price 5
