Good quality original part
Excellent, fixed the problem with the car.

255B00 fault code and stutter on low revs after installation
This EGR valve did not work me (2011 BMW X3 F25, N47D20C), it was throwing 255B00 fault codes in ISTA after installation, there was also engine stutter on low revs. Had to get the original part no. 11 71 7 810 871

Direct replacement
Bought it for my bmw 320d as original one was sticking and this worked perfectly, as other aftermarket one I got before was throwing error codes.

Does the job, but the branding on the EGR does not show WAHLER

OEM Part
I bought this part to replace the faulty one on my car (BMW 320d 184 F31 2012(62)). The original was not clagged up with carbon, but the electronic side of the EGR valve had stopped functioning. The car had 76k miles on at the time. This part is OEM spec and is a genuine part of the same brand as factory build. You will need x2 jubilee clamps to replace the one shot hose clips that BMW fit at build for the x2 coolant hoses that run to/from the EGR valve. Im at 82k miles now and alls good. Its well worth buying the genuine part rather than taking a chance on pattern.

Just the job
Replaced faulty EGR on 2013 320D. Wahler have been taken over by BorgWarner so don't expect a Wahler branded product anymore. Old valve despite being clean wasn't functioning correctly and replacing sorted the fault. Make sure you have some single ear hose clamps for the rear coolant hose on the EGR as it is a pig to access.
