The first thing I wanna say about this knife is it is the most original design by a major manufacturer that I've seen in some time. The blade is very heavy duty but it's not heavy in the hand and it carry's great. The tan scale gives it a great look and is also comfortable in the hand. The stonewashed finish on the blade really gives it that unique look. The only issue I have with function is the pocket clip. It's very solid and will need a break in period. I put this knife through some tests and I have to say it performed rather well. I hacked through a 2.5 inch fallen tree limb in just under 4 minutes. After that I took a branch and whittled all of the bark off of it. Finally I cut 3 corrugated boxes into small pieces. I have found that paper will really dull a blade out. After all of this. The knife held its edge. I went right back to shaving the first stick down. This knife would be great for camping, backpacking or even as every day carry. It would also make a great gift for anyone that needs a knife or just wants one.
