Why did you choose this product over others?: Powerful tack, easy clean-up, works on wood, metal, glass, stone.

Handy size 50ml each, handy that its also the varnish sealer as that is needed.

It works really well and looks good. Could have done with more instructions.

Brought this to silver leaf inside of 3 metal lampshades. Yes I was too tight to pay £50 each! Followed the instructions on the bottles and turned out pretty good. Only down side the brushes are tiny. A little goes a long way!

The glue is quite good but I tried a few different methods because the method on the box didn't work. The glue is ok, I have used a few others since and found them to be much better. The varnish is not one I would use again and only used it once. When applied onto the gold leaf it 'dulls' it so I haven't used it since. Overall, I would not recommend.

Item ideal for my project good value for money

I bought the silver to finish making a ‘school of sardines’ for my kitchen wall. The sheets are separated with tissue to allow for easy access to each piece.

Diciamocelo, tutti dicono di vendere la miglior colla, per la foglia d'oro, ma pochi sono realmente i prodotti adatti allo scopo, soprattutto se si vuole usare il prodotto in materiali diversi. Nessuno vi parlerà di porosità del supporto, di capacità adesiva o di assorbenza, sono cose che sviluppate con l'esperienza, per questo ho almeno 4 o 5 colle iniziate e non più usate. Questa è diversa, lavora bene sul legno, basta preparare bene la superficie, levigandola, e aspettare i tempi consigliati, considerando che il legno assorbe bene i liquidi, quindi basta il tempo minimo (vedi bordo scatolina). L'ho provata anche su resina e plexiglass, lasciandola asciugare più a lungo, diciamo fino a quando non è più percettibile al tatto, ottenendo ottimi risultati, se lo fate prima non otterrete altro che foglie strappate e una doratura inaccettabile. Anche la vernice è ottima, da all'oro una buona lucentezza, chiaramente da usare se volete quel tipo di finitura, altrimenti usate una vernice acrilica. Il prezzo è buono, vista la resa del prodotto e la sua qualità, mai come in questo caso il teorema di spendere per avere si applica meglio. E' un prodotto che consiglio PS. se la usate su prodotti che hanno un loro tempo di asciugatura, come la pasta di legno per i fregi, aspettate almeno 48 ore prima di dorare, le classiche 24 potrebbero non bastare visto che l'eventuale presenza di umidità interna potrebbe influire sulla colla

I am very happy with the timing of delivery and product was as advertised. I look forward to using it to apply my gold leaf to art projects such as on my carved gourds. Can send picture once I have applied it to the gourd.
