This stuff is terrific! First of all, I love the way that it's packaged. It's in a durable plastic bag that's taped up nicely inside the box, which means you can take what you need and reclose the bag so the rest of it stays dry. Secondly, I love the thin slabs that it comes in because they're much easier to work with than the big hulking bricks of coconut fiber out there. They hydrate faster and you can use just the amount that you need without having a lot of extra. And saving the best reasons for last, the fiber itself is easy to work with, hydrates quickly, isnt dusty, clumpy, or messy, mixes well with soil if you're using it as an additive, and keeps the moisture level more even for the plants. I've used other products that were super dusty and messy as I unwrapped them, and even as they were soaking in water gave off dust if I moved them. Those other products took a very long time to soak up the water too. This is far better to work with for sure! I've repurchased it several times and am totally hooked on it!

I do not have enough good things to say about Coco Coir. After lots of research to minimize the number of pesticides and harmful soils to grow my own fruits and veggies from seeds, I came across this product and have since repurchased 2 more times! My zinnias sprouted within 3-5 days compared to ones I started in MiracleGro soil which took over 1 week in the same type of containers and same growing environment. The pellets expanded quickly and made an abundance of soil. I also mixed CocoCoir with a bit of Perlite as others suggested and once my seeds started to sprout, also introduced a natural fertilizer. This was great at keeping the house gnat population at bay as well. Great product and I don't mind spending a bit more for the quality!

Consistently good! I have not had any foreign materials or salts in this brand of coir. 250g, 650g and 2 kilo bricks were all consistent. Depending on the plants I would use them on some times I would give it a cal/mag pre soak prior to use. But that is for your more persnickety plants. other than that drop in some 4.4.4 and that covers your nutrients. I continue to buy for the quality, price and always in stock. ( at least when I am looking for it)

Normally I use the brick size coir blocks, and that was what I thought I was ordering when I selected these. When they arrived, they turned out to be about half as big as a brick. That said, they are the same quality coir as the Coco Bliss bricks I have been using. I find that they are useful if you don't want to mix such big batches of potting medium as I usually do. There is a place for small batches of potting mix, but I don't occupy that place. these are nice, but,next time, I'll get the bricks.

I bought this for my ferrets so they can dig. I made them a dig box and placed coco bliss in there and they love it! One block is all you need and it made soooo much so once it dried out, I was able to store it away until next time. It’s very safe and would recommend it to anyone with ferrets. Once you are done with it though, you can use it for your plants or whatever you need to do with it. It comes in a block so you will have to wet it but it’s super easy and less messy than them digging in dirt. I didn’t have to give them a bath when they were digging in this so that’s a plus. Also, don’t wet it too much, just enough to separate and remember that it must stay wet and not dusty for them or that can become a problem.
