I am in LOVE! Cheap, Loud, Clear! Better than Littmann
I am a nursing student and I also work at the hospital. The nurses all have Littmann and their pretty expensive. I misplaced mine and I was also on a budget so I did my research and doctors actually recommend the Prestige. I love pink and the price was under $25! I had to take a chance with it. When I got it, the packaging was very nice and came with extra ear buds. It does not look cheap! The quality is just like the littmann just better sound and a different logo! The color was perfect the length was perfect (it stops at mid boob length when placed around your neck) and the weight was perfect. It actually stays around your neck and doesn't move or slide while walking. The sound is AMAZING! So loud and clear! Tip: The paper says to insert the ear buds facing TOWARD you. I couldn't hear crap when I did so I put them on facing AWAY from me and OMG what a difference. That's when everything became loud and clear. Try it both ways to see what works best for you.

Great Value and Performance
*2021 update* -the original Prestige stethoscopes that I purchased here are still working well and I still wholeheartedly recommend them for someone just starting out in school or clinical practice. This is a fantastic value for the performance you get, and they've held up quite well over the years (I've now had the original one for almost 11 years). My primary stethoscope is now one of the nicer big name brand stethoscopes that I received as a Christmas gift a couple years ago. It does outperform these and has a few nicer features (pressure sensitive diaphragm and better sound deadening in the tubing) that said, I have still used my prestige brand stethoscopes from time to time and have zero complaints or reservations with their performance. Quite honestly, I'm not sure if I would have ever spent the money on a nicer stethoscope myself if I had stayed in a general practice role (I now work in a specialized cardiology-centric role and the improved sensitivity of the some of the high-end stethoscopes does come in handy from time to time). That said, anyone who needs to be able to check blood pressure manually or do basic auscultation in most settings should be absolutely fine with this stethoscope. *Original review* I'm in nursing school and didn't want to purchase the cheapo stethoscope that they were selling at the college bookstore. After doing some research I settled on this one. Almost a year of use later, I can say I'm very pleased! The sensitivity of this stethoscope rivals that of the basic Littmans I've used (I purposefully compared them after I first got this)! This has held up well and shows all intentions of lasting for many years to come. The only issue I've found is you need to make sure the earpiece tips stay screwed on tight. I almost lost one when I first started using this (guessing it wasn't as tight as it should have been from the manufacturer). Since then I've gotten into the habit of double checking them. I haven't had one loosen up on me since that first time - but I check out of habit now. I haven't seen a better deal for the money. Highly recommend! **Update** It is now 2015 as of this update and I still love this stethoscope! Practicing RN now for several years and I still stick by my original assertion that the sound quality and durability is every bit as good as the MUCH more expensive scopes. I've had several occasions where I've been accused of imagining adventitious lung sounds because I heard something the previous clinician had not caught (it pays to take your time for auscultation)! I'm pleased to see the price has dropped since I purchased my original one and I'm going to purchase an additional scope (I keep my other one at work now and I want to have one at home - why not for $25?).

Sensible and Great Value
I was in need of a new stethoscope and decided to order this one after doing extensive research and comparing the price to function to reviews. I would say that it is heavy which I was not expecting, but is much lighter than my previous one. The sound quality is good, my only advice switch out the earbuds for ones that are more comfortable. Other than that it is good quality and hopefully it will last me throughout nursing school, unlike my other one!

amazing stethoscope for a nursing students budget!
I'm a nursing student and i needed a stethoscope for clinical, all my instructors advised everyone that Littman was the best and that's what you should buy. Like I stated before, I'm a nursing student so my income could not afford a Littman. Long story short, I love this stethoscope it does everything I need it to do and I can hear perfectly, the sound is amazing for the price, also it comes with 2 different size ear buds for your comfort level.

Perfect for nurses/CNAs who need to take vitals
Sound quality is great, I use it to take vitals in a hospital setting. Blood pressures are rarely too soft for me to hear. The spare ear pieces and drum cover are definitely useful. Fairly lightweight but it is sorta hefty on the end, but in a way that you can tell it’s good quality.

Great!
This stethoscope has worked great for me! It was exactly what I was looking for. I wasn’t expecting the greatest quality due to the price, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The quality is great, the sound quality is great, and it doesn’t seem cheap in any way! Definitely recommend if you aren’t looking to spend a ton of money.

inexpensive stethoscope. but almost as nice as my littman.
really nice stethoscope, comes with a ton of extras my littman Classic II SE didn't come with. the scope above comes with 3 sets of extra ear pieces, a name tag, a replacement diaphragm for the large bell. got a spare for nursing school, which i will be starting in spring. took my state required Emergency Medical Technician with my littman. honestly the littman i can hear a bit better but honestly i can do all i need with both. i would have spent this money on this scope because most of the others in my EMT class spent $20 for a piece of trash sprague that they had to put together and hearing pulses in a loud room was tough. i may order another for my medic bag. only thing i was disappointed about, was the inside literature mentions a different bell for pediatric care, that just screws in and no mention of needing to purchase more items. there is none in the packaging. i dont think you could even swap the small bell though not that i really looked.

Gutes Teil

Not bad at all! Perfect for basic assessments. A bit heavy but really that's my only complaint :)
