Very nice TV stick i would recommend to purchase this during Prime day sale for best discount. This TV stick transformed the old Tv into FHD Tv perfectly with more clear picture and video quality. So far i didn't faced any issues. UI is very smooth and fast. It does have Nvidia Geforce app which i use to play games though there is too much lag when controller was used. Maybe that can be fixed in some update. The only feature that does not work is the Airplay for casting.

Amazon fire stick provides a good enough experience but if you already have an android TV, it will not add anything extra. The UI is simple and easy enough to navigate, Amazon store has a good collection of applications. The only downside so far would be the laggy UI, I can feel the slow response while navigating the menus. The network range is also not that great. The resolution is also capped to 4k60Hz, even though my TV supports upto 4K144Hz.

Likes: 1. Supports Dolby Atmos decoding on Netflix, JioHotstar, Apple TV and Zee5 in pass through mode(connected to my LG Soundbar). 2. UI is very snappy and RAM management is great. Apps remain in memory. 3. Picture quality and contrast ratio is much better than LG WebOS 4. Navigation is decent, nothing to complain about. 5. Runs on the latest FireTV OS v8. 6. Alexa works very well and is able to process everything quickly. 7. Wifi 6 performance is pretty great with a Wifi 6 compatible router. Dislikes: 1. Setup is complicated and time consuming 2. Remote’s build quality could have been better. 3. Should come with a USB C port instead of micro USB. 4. A lot of Ads on the home screen which feels a little cluttered. Overall a VFM product. Does the job and is a huge upgrade from LG WebOS. Both Picture and Sound Quality improved after I switched to Firestick. Please note that this is not a 2025 model, it’s manufactured in 2024 and is a Firestick 4K 2nd Gen model. It has got 2GB of ram and 8GB of storage which is sufficient. Make sure to play around with the picture and audio settings to get a fine tuned output.

This is a review after using FireTV for more than a decade...The device itself is great! but the usage of the Prime subscription is an issue...the reason I bought this is for Prime and other OTT's even though this is a bit more expensive...now with the new Device usage policy for watching Prime video, It does not make sense to buy this device anymore and look for other devices that may be more cheaper. The issue. I have 3 TV's at home (2 TV's and one Home Theater room) as I live in an Independent home, but the device policy is that I cannot use it on more than 2 devices because there is hard binding to the Device on which you play Prime Video. So what does that mean? if I am adding a new device then I will hit the device limit reached error. Though I have three TV's, I only watch on 2 TV's at MAX at any given time. So even if I am not playing on the other devices, I cannot watch it on the third device because the Devices are already registered. The solution (or not) from Amazon is 1) you can manage the device registrations in the devices section of the Prime settings. the downside? I can only do it once every 30 days (absurd) and 2) I can subscribe for Prime Lite but on another account, the downside? Why would I take another prime subscription will I get additional benefits? and that too on another account so my history and preferences are lost. This is probably the worst policy setting I have come across (I have seen this kind of restriction about 20 years back when online streaming was just coming up). Other OTT's have device limits but the limit is checked based on live connections irrespective of how many devices are registered. I HOPE AMAZON READS THIS REVIEW AND CORRECTS THEIR POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

Really happy with this Fire TV Stick 4K Plus. The performance is smooth, picture quality is great, and I especially like that I’m able to install third-party apps without any hassle. Gives me much more freedom compared to a regular streaming device. Very satisfied with the purchase! 👍

Works great and faster than previous models. Mic seems to be fixed now. It's quite responsive now.
